In the midst of all negatives, BCB deserves some credit for the pitch that the last match was played on. It was by far the best pitch I can think of used in Bangladesh. It was somewhat lively and remained true through out the whole 5 day; had even bounce and good carry for the pacers, good turn but no dust, and the ball was also coming on to the bat for the batters to make shots.

The new Lankan curator deserves some credit and so does BCB for hiring him. Now only if he can produce some bouncier pitches for the domestic circuit. Pitch wise Bangladesh cricket is heading to the right direction. Even though our pitch played better than we did, ICC don't take our test status away.

Agreed. Also pitch looked better coloured. Not black with lots of dirt like we been having in SBNCS.

Looks perfect for us. Cold weather also played a great role to hold it together and gave a fresh and lively look.

I thought pitch like this would totally suit Tamim, He loves ball coming on to the bat. Come to think of it, he was playing well till he didn't know how to duck. In both innings he got out on the balls bouncing to his face and instead of ducking, the TAMIM that he is, chose to take the bounce on and perished.

Not sure, I am not in the know of our domestic cricket. But I remember one of the commies, Shamim I believe, was saying that the Lankan curator was going to be, if not already, in charge of all pitches in Dhaka. If BCB wants improvement, they better have this guy produce pitches of the same caliber all over Bangladesh so our team does not fail to take the home condition advantage playing against the international sides.
We don't want our own pitches going against us, we already have the umpires and our own players doing that job.
