First ODI cancelled

Hello and Welcome to wisdencricinfo's live coverage of the first of
five one-day internationals between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe being
held at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo
the news is not good at all, it has been raining heavily for the
past three days, the covers are still on! and a large part of the
outfield is unplayable at the moment
and the umpires have decided to call off the match

And believe it or not, this is only the 3rd ODI for Bangaldesh in 83 ODIs that's been cancelled for "No Result" due to rain.

The best thing that we can learn from this "No Result" game of today and possibly tomorrow's game is to improve the drainage systems of most of the stadiums of OUR COUNTRY, to make sure that this does not happen in Bangladesh.

This is outrageous, i was finally in the mood to see some good cricket today. after the very exciting and good news from our U19 team i hoping that the NBD team would follow. This crazy zim weather is making me sick and angry.
