Today there were almost 12000 people in the stadium. I am sure atleast 5000 of them came only for Gayle. sure Burners will struggle big time after Gayle leaves for SA. But what will happen to BPL ? sure BPL will lose huge crowd and attraction after this man leaves.

I am sure Barisal burners owners are trying everything to retain Gayle . I think Gayle would love to play in BPL rather than in SA t20 league . So Burners should negotiate with SA club dolphins to retain Gayle . Even if it costs some good amount of money but It is certainly worth than giving 2 lakhs 10 thousands dollars to idiot Nafees . BPL committee should also help BB if they need it.

Plssss somehow retain this man for the sake of BPL !!!!!!!!!!!

5000 people X 200 ticket price X 7 games = 70 lakh. Give 10 Lakh to khoti puron to SA club.

For me, bringing fantasy cricket points priceless.

What is Nafees doing? He is NOT coming to bat even at 6! He is not doing anything, just earning easy money!
Thats right, spend that $210K to retain Gayle.

I read in Cricinfo Dolphins is giving Gayle 8 times less, which is like $60K for the season!
Yes, pay them off and keep the man in BPL.

I second the idea. Many people outside BD are tuning in to BPL just to see Gayle storm. He is an asset to this tournament.

South African women are hot - can't blame Gayle for wanting to go.

Retaining Gayle for full BPL is not difficult . Gibbs also signed BPL to play only till 13th Feb to join his SA club Warriors. But now according to his twitter status he wants to play full BPL and will then go SA to play later half of the SA t20 tournament . Gayle can still play many matches for Dolphins after 29th Feb . So why not give dolphins some compensate for Gayle's absence when he is so important for BB ?!!!
