I do not think so. With 4/5 overs left he could have gone for it. He already had his 50. The stage was set for an assault. It never came. Any good 20 over batsman (ANY) heck even Rahane would score a century if he stays in the crease for 18+ overs. Rohit showed how it was done. Kallis couldn't get to 80 even. 20+ short which was almost equal to the target.

If you have followed his game you know there were numerous occasions where Kallis didn't take the charge when the team required him to.. For a long time I've been SA fan (mmm I still am as I love Amla and AB) and I still remember some of those frustrating moments..

The WI is just a mess. They play hard ball with Gayle for choosing T20 leagues but not with guys like Pollard, Samuels and Narine. It's sad because they could really build such a strong team had they kept things under control. To me, WICB is as bad as PCB.

Das has done well whenever he's come in. Had he gotten half the chances Pathan has he would've done a lot better. Tiwary is another good Indian batsman for them.
