Hi guys.

Recently I've started listening to youtube recordings of bhoot fm. I've caught about 5 episodes so far I think.

The best of these have to be the one where there were stories about a family in Agarga Taltala, one about a guy who used to see figures at night for about a couple of years, and one about a couple of pakistani friends who saw a cannibalistic graveyard keeper.

For those who watch it, what are some your favorite episodes?

I personally don't believe in many of the stories, but some are quite interesting and thrilling.

I wonder if anyone here could enlighten me about this (and whether they have heard similar stories):

Last winter, when I went to Bangladesh, my cousins told me a few stories that I found to be a bit perturbing - but interesting nonetheless. We all know that there were many killing fields during 1971, both inside Dhaka and in districts across the country. Quite a few remain undiscovered, even in Dhaka; lost beneath the tarmac of city roads and the foundations of high rise buildings.

The family of a friend of my cousin moved into a flat in Mirpur. From day one, they felt as if they were not alone in that flat; as if the flat was buzzing with people. They heard the voices of young men and elderly women all day and night. They held all sorts of milads, namaaz, etc. but that odd atmosphere never left. Eventually, they found out that the building in which they lived was built over a 1971 killing field.

Have any of you heard similar stories? If so, care to share?

But I like talking about ghost stories, especially pure desi ones. Western horrors are all just same thing. You move into a house and that is haunted. I heard some stories from my older cousins and uncles from the villages. I will share soon.

That's my personal belief. I agree with the poster claiming a lot of these stories are BS, but there are some which seem which must be true.

In my view its just Jinn that take different forms sometimes.

I've heard the exact same story about a dada/nana/chacha/mama seeing a two-storey tall ghost on his way to fajar prayers. Eki bhut/jinn naki?

The ones I've heard have sounded pretty legitimate(my ancestral village origins are near some well known forests wehre some of this has taken place) but I've also heard some stuff from friends that sounded pretty funny

One of my firends' dad and his mate went to the village and there was this thing about a haunted room or something. ANyway people had to pay and no-one was allowed bring light with them as it would keep away the "bhoot"

Well my friend's dad when he ws a kid and his mate smuggled in a torch and went to the room. The room suddenly filled with eerie sounds and the tin roof was flapping and there were stuff moving.

So he turned on the torch and everything stopped-there was some random guy on the roof holding the tin in his hand as well as the other guys who were the "bhoot special effects" and "Bhoot CGI" of the 1970s. They got kicked out because they spoiled the bhoot party

I haven't personally encountered any jin pori/bhut petni so far but my two younger brothers did couple of years back when my parents were in Saudi Arabia for Hajj. During their absence, my brothers had some strange kind of feelings in the home. One night, both of them found out that water tap was on and water was pouring down from bucket. There were no other persons apart from my two younger bros in the house. Another incident where they found out that the toilet door was locked from inside. That door was old model so it had chitkini system where you have to be inside to lock it.

Another proof of some paranormal activity in our house is frequent visit of black cat in the night. People say, jin disguises in black cat, don't know how authentic is that. People say there was a graveyard underneath of our apartment in Dhaka.

জুয়েল আইচ : ওরে বাবা, ভূত বিশ্বাস না করে কী উপায় আছে! কারণ আমি খুব কাছে থেকে ভূত দেখেছি। আগে ঢাকা থেকে লঞ্চে নিয়মিত পিরোজপুর যাতায়াত করতাম। গভীর রাতে গ্রামের কাছাকাছি একটি ঘাটে লঞ্চ থেকে নামতাম। এক একা বনজঙ্গলে ঘেরা নির্জন পথ ধরে কয়েক মাইল হেঁটে বাড়ি পৌঁছাতে হতো। সে সময়ই একাধিকবার ভয়ংকর সব ভূত-প্রেতের খপ্পড়ে পড়ি। এরকমই একটা বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতার ঘটনা বলি। প্রায় শেষ রাত। একটা শ্বশান ঘাট পাড় হয়ে বিলের মতো একটা জায়গার পাশ দিয়ে বাড়ির পথে হাঁটছি। পথে ঝোপঝাঁড়। একটু ভয় ভয় লাগছিল, তাই খুব দ্রুত হাঁটছিলাম। হঠাৎ দেখি, একটা ঝোঁপের ধারে একটা বউ বসে আছে। মাথায় ঘোমটা দেওয়া একটা ছোট্ট বউ। এতো রাতে এই নির্জন জায়গায় বউ আসবে কোথা থেকে? এটা কী ! ভালো করে তাকাতেই দেখি বউটা আমার উদ্দেশ্যে মাথা নাড়ছে। হৃদপিণ্ড ধরাস করে উঠলে, আতংকে পা ফেলতে ভুলে গেছি। বউটা থেকে চোখও সরাতে পারছি না। শীতল একটা হাওয়া বয়ে গেল। বউটা এবার জোরে জোরে মাথা নাড়তে শুরু করলো, অর্থাৎ আমাকে সে কাছে ডাকছে। বুঝলাম আমার সময় ঘনিয়ে এসেছে, আর রক্ষা নেই। মরতে যখন হবেই, তখন শুনি বউটা আমাকে কী বলতে চায়। খুব কষ্টে দুরু দুরু বুকে বউটার কাছে গেলাম। এবার হতাশ হতে হলো আমাকে। ঝোঁপের ধারে বিশাল একটা মান কঁচু গাছ। মান কঁচুর একটা পাতার উপর বিল থেকে প্রতিফলিত হালকা আলো এমনভাবে পড়েছে যে মনে হচ্ছে, একটা বউ ঘোমটা মাথায় বসে আছে। বাতাসে কাঁপছে পাতা, মনে হচ্ছে বউটা মাথা নাড়ছে। আরেকবার বাঁশঝাড় থেকে হঠাৎ লিকলিকে একটা হাত আমাকে ধরার বের হয়ে এসেছিল। চিৎকার দিয়ে অজ্ঞান হওয়ার আগে দেখি, ঝাঁড় থেকে একটা সরু বাঁশ বাতাসে হেলে পড়ছে বার বার। আমাদের প্রায় সবারই ভূত দেখার অভিজ্ঞতা এরকমই। অনেককেই বলতে শুনেছি, যারা ভূতের দেখা পেয়েছেন। ছুটে গেছি তাদের কাছে। কিন্তু কেউই ভূতের সঙ্গে করিয়ে দিতে পারেন নি। আমার সঙ্গে দেখা করতে কেন জানি, কোনো ভূত-প্রেত রাজি হয় নি।[/বাংলা]

Few stories I heard from my uncles/cousins. All of them takes place in village. I don't know if they are true or not

1. This lady went to the village with her new born son. She left the infant in a small hut room and went outside to fetch something. The boy was in the room alone. Suddenly, there was a piercing cry coming out of the room and the mother ran towards it. She saw a disfigured and scary creature trying to steal her baby with its two hands. Upon seeing her, the human-like creature ran away. Apparently, this was a "jinn" or some creature that feeds on little babies.

2. During certain no moon (amabosshas) days, you can hear some shanai going on in the distant land. No one knows where it comes from but they can all hear it. But faraway, they can see glimpses of people marching towards something. They think its some unearthly being either attending a wedding function or forming an army

3. A husband got a job in some other country and had to leave his wife alone for few months. He packed his bag, had dinner with wife, and then left. They were both sad as they knew they won't see each other for months. But after few hours, the wife hears a sudden knock in the door and it was her husband. She was surprised to see him but he said that his job was postponed. 6 months later, the real husband returns only to find dismembered body of her wife. She was killed by some creature resembling him.

I have heard many more. I can share if ppl are interested.

And it worked, he almost ran back home.

My friends cousin was playing in the park and kept seeing this child playing on the swings. The child was on the swings for a long time and my friends cousin went away to get something. When he comes back he sees the child's dead body hanging from the branch of a tree.

Simon miya dekhi toileter bhoot er golpo bole. Eta shotti toilet e onek kharap jinn thake. Tai dhukar shomoy ekta dua ase. Same for other rooms too. Whenever you enter, you have to say Bismillah and full salam and the bad things go away.

I've heard similar things to what mufi described. There was something that happened at the mosque here apparently(used to be a church before it was converted). Not really sure these are things to be discussed. As in I heard that incidents like these shouldn't be discussed

Juju's story was the best Bhoot FM has ever aired! My personal favourite as well :) It was aired in the 2nd episode of Bhoot FM.

In the 2nd episode of bhoot fm the host speaks about a haunted Building in dhanmondi 27. though he didnt say details about it as expected but i think i figured it out. that building was build so many years ago- i remember in my school days. but even now you can see only couple of flats occupied. now after listening about it in bhoot fm i feel bit scary to move in front of that building at night :(

Btw, my father actually wanted to buy one of the apartments in the red building, but the landlord did not want to hand over the real lease papers...hence he opted for the other apartment building, but the landlord's actually a pious guy....never heard of such things...being neighbours and all...we moved there in late 2006....strange.....

We all know that there were many killing fields during 1971, both inside Dhaka and in districts across the country. Quite a few remain undiscovered, even in Dhaka; lost beneath the tarmac of city roads and the foundations of high rise buildings.

The family of a friend of my cousin moved into a flat in Mirpur. From day one, they felt as if they were not alone in that flat; as if the flat was buzzing with people. They heard the voices of young men and elderly women all day and night. They held all sorts of milads, namaaz, etc. but that odd atmosphere never left. Eventually, they found out that the building in which they lived was built over a 1971 killing field.

Have any of you heard similar stories? If so, care to share?

I have quite a similar story that I heard from my parents and it happened when they were in Kolyanpur (now we are in Dhanmondi) a year before my birth. Abbu ammu tokhon kom varay ekta basa peyechilo. Char tola basa, amar parents thakto ekdom uporer tolay. To majhe majhei hothat tara shunto j pasher room er janalar kach k jeno khub jore venge felche r besh koyek jon lok hatahati korche, especially at noon and midnight. And as you can guess, oi room a gele kaukey dekha jeto na and janala gulao shob intact thakto. Then they asked the neighbours if they heard it too and they said they heard it pretty often :) The landlord informed there were many people killed in that location during 1971 so majhe majhe sobdo hole voyer kisu nai karon tara kono khoti korena :lol:
The next month my parents left the haunted house to find a normal house.

Anyone here watched "fear files" in Zee tv? It's started from 30 June 2012. It's exactly like Bhoot-fm. Stories from real people, not a typical horror show type and I started liking it. They show only on weekends and one full story a day. So far they have shown 4 stories, 30 June, 1st July, 7 & 8 July. You can also watch it on youtube, just type " fear files Zee tv " on YouTube search bar.

I think this is what bhoutist team also trying to make & Zee tv already started it.
