Bashar said: "I even closed my eyes when Tareq went in to bowl his first ball of the 50th over. Then when I looked again, the stumps were shattered. After that I could relax a bit," said Bashar over phone from Harare."

Assuming he was on the slip, whats your interpretation of this? What if he missed a catch in that ball? Is he just a lump of muscle with incredible reflex but without a brain? If he was batting under similar pressure wouldn't he totally collapse? Is he the kind of leader who can make others stronger.

I know its the wrong day to talk about this. Nevertheless its important. And probably an example like this makes it the absolutely perfect time to talk about this.

What you can do under pressure defines you as a leader.

Pagol bhai, is it not too much to decipher out Bashar's statement? I think it was an expression to let other know how nail biting was the last over of Tareq Aziz. I don't think he literally kept his eyes closed even right after the moment the first ball was being delivered.
