2) Mohammed Ashraful
3) Mushfiqur Rahim
4) Shakib Al Hasan
5) Nasir Hossain
6) Junaid Siddique
7) Mahmudullah Riad
8) Ziaur Rahman
9) Mashrafe Bin Mortaza
10) Shafiul Islam
11) Elias Sunny/Abdur Razzak

I don't know why it is neccessary to play Three SLA: Shakib, Sunny and Razzak?

Mahmudullah has done enough to prove that he is a good Bowler in T20 or ODI!

Our Bowling Attack Should Be: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Shafiul Islam, Shakib Al Hasan, Elias Sunny and Mahmudllah Riad!

Pitch and conditions
All the wet weather of recent weeks

the pitches will have any great pace.
Bangladesh won't mind if Boyd
Rankin is not pinging the ball at their
chests. The forecast for Wednesday is
promising but further ahead there is
less certainty.

Don't mean to burst the bubble but is it technically possible for a TV channel to suddenly decide to broadcast a game that is being held in Ireland? If their management does get the job done with securing rights, equipment, commentary and sponsors within this time then I really have to take my hats off to them

The many years of following cricket on cricinfo has already prepared me for today's scenario. Hope the rain stays away for four hours.

If we play ODI's anytime soon, based on current evaluation:

1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Imrul Kayes
3. Mahmudullah Riyad
4. Shakib al Hasan
5. Mushfiqur Rahim
6. Nasir Hossain
7. Mohammad Ashraful
8. Mashrafee Mortaza
9. Nazmul Hossain
10. Abdur Razzak
11. Rubel Hossain/Elias Sunny/Shafiul Islam

If we play tests anytime soon, then about the same team + Lineup except swap Kayes with Nazimuddin. and swap Abdur Razzak with Elias Sunny, and swap Mortaza with Shafiul Islam/Batsmen: shahriar Nafees/Naeem Islam since it won't make any difference anyway going with three pacers since our pacers are mediocre in Test matches.

"Few outside the sub-continent would argue that Ireland have not been a better team than Bangladesh over the past five years, having beaten today's opponents at the 2007 World Cup in the West Indies and again in the 2009 World T20 in England.

Success on the field has not been matched by political manoeuvres off it, however, and Bangladesh have been allowed to get away with a number of tricks designed to underline their 'superior' status - not least in sending an 'A' team to tour and play Ireland during 2008."

The good news is that there has not been nearly as much rain as was predicted yesterday but, as luck would have it, we have had two sharp, heavy showers in the last 20 minutes. From cricinfo:
Good afternoon and welcome to
ESPNCricinfo's coverage of the 3
match RSA Twenty20 challenge
between Ireland and Bangladesh. My
name is Justin Smyth and im going to
be bringing you live coverage on this
evenings game here in Stormont,
Belfast.
Both todays teams are going to be
appearing at the ICC T20 world cup
which is going to start in Sri Lanka in
62 days time. Bangladesh where
drawn in group D and they will play
against New Zealand and Pakistan.
Ireland came through the qualifying
tournament held in Dubai in March,
beating Afghanistan by 5 wickets in
the final. Ireland will play in group B
and play against Australia and the
West Indies.
This isnt the first time that these
teams have played a 20/20 against
each other. In the group stages of the
2009 world cup Ireland beat
Bangladesh by 6 wickets Ireland are
ranked 9th on the icc rankings for T20
cricket. Bangladesh dont appear on
the table due to the small number of
T20 internationals that they have
played so far. Bangladesh are playing
three games here in Ireland and then
will move on to the Netherlands
where they will play games again
Scotland and the Netherlands.
Bangladesh have played two warm up
games on Monday. Beating an Ireland
XI by 7 wickets and an NCU Presidents
XI by 48 runs.
As always when games are played at
stormont the weather forcast is
always important, in this
#Irishsummer more then most! It
seems like its been raining every day
since the summer began. Today is no
