I voted for Tamim. He doesn't click that much usually scoring a brisk 30s/40s but if he gets in the zone anything can happen.

Ash, forget it.

The Rock! Who else?! Tamim? I can only expect a 50 from him in T20Is! So, Rock it has to be! :D

The question asked for a request? If I were to request someone, it would be Nazmul. Maybe then he would not be a stepson. As for who do I expect to do it first? Mushy.

Sir Ashraful

Tamim could do it if somehow he could retire hurt after scoring 50 for one hour before resuming again with his energy restored.

Rok it is!

I would request someone else. Maybe someone like Zunaid, Johirul or Zia. We need to have as many performers as possible in the team. So tired of depending only on Shak, Tamim, Mushy and Ash.

It's too late for me to score a T20 century. Maybe, Junaed can?

Voted for Ashraful :) I believe this guy will shut all criticizers.

The Rajib is more than capable of conceding a century in his allotted 4 overs. Just put him in a pressure situation and have a few Bollywood babes in the galleries.

I'd have opted for Shakib really, but opted for realism instead. Shakib is more likely to either get out or stay not out at 96. DaRock? Unlikely, unless the grounds offer long off and long on boundaries the length of a tennis court. JuSi? That boat won't sail again, thanks to Jamie Siddons, his "team rules", and Imroze's own learning disabilities. Nazimuddin can do it, meaning play 100 deliveries for about 20 runs on account of painful strike rotation, with better footwork. Tamim? No. Why? Cigarettes.

Is there any reason why Tamim 151 doesn't do it for you, Asaad?

Why do we forget 158*?

Why do we forget 158*?

Easily the best innings by a Bangladeshi batsman I've had the privilege to witness. He'd have gone on to score an easily double that day but ran out of partners.

mushfiq...yes he can do it! Once he stays....he can easily convert the 40s to a century :)

don bradman once scored a century in 3 overs, but they were 8 ball overs back then so as it would be today that would be the equivalent number of balls as 4 overs of today.

my vote for Ash, but there is someone else also I believe is Mushy.

The legend foretells us of a beast that will rise in the upcoming world T-20. The beast known as the Rok will find a way back from the depths of oblivion (A-team) at the expense of an unfortunate soul who will fail to deliver during the tiger’s tour of Europe. Once in the team as a replacement, Rokibul the Beast will unleash all the anger, pain and drama propelling him to hit the most eye popping century known to man against the warriors of New Zealand. The innings of the beast will be one of such beauty and magnificence that Shamim will forget to stutter, Gayle would have an orgasm and the even the formidable BC server will bow to its aura and go down for 20 minutes.

You all have been warned

Tamim is better suited for longer version. Don't think he can manage a century within in 20 overs.

Ash is definitely capable if its one of his special days. Shakib and Mushy are the two other obvious choices if they come in early enough to face 70+ balls.

I think Mullah can surprise as well the way he is progressing in this format.

I'm going with Shakib.

As with most Bangladeshi records, I expect Shakib to score the first T20 century - especially if he starts batting at No. 3 and has time to settle in.

I'm really hopeful about Mushy too but his ability to score the century depends where he bats in the lineup. Quite possible if he continues at 4.

The person whose name might not pop up as the first centurion is Mahmudullah. I really think he can surprise the lot and pull off a quick fired century to win the match for the team. I really hope Mahmudullah can score a century so he can build on his confidence.
