# Post 3 is my XI atm..very happy with it. Have 6 full time bowlers(3 spinner and 3 pacer) and Raina, who has proven to be more than handy.

Reserve looks not too bad at all...Cook is very unlucky to miss out in the XI to Hafiz as he can't bowl like Hafiz does otherwise his stats suggest he should be in my XI...

Andrew McDonald is a genuin T20 AR..again unlucky to miss out coz of Mascarenhas. Both are pretty similar player but Mascarenhas is much better bowler in t20 than McDonald thus he gets the nods ahead of him. That will put Mascarenhas in some under pressure to perform.:D

G. Dockrell, another quality player to be on the bench. Current Irish player but have everything to be English bowler soon...Mendis will be under pressure too :D

(Edit:)

Just signed Adam Voges, which might push S. Dhawan out of the playing XI..:waiting:

Got Zunaid khan, a perfect back up seamer. Perhaps might as well play all 3 LF/LFM bowlers :waiting:

Good team overall; I would use Matt Prior to open the batting and include McDonald in the team by dropping Hafeez

Good team overall; I would use Matt Prior to open the batting and include McDonald in the team by dropping Hafeez

It depends on the pitch...Hafeez is more of a bowler in T20 than a bat(his bowling record is amazing). thus if he play, he will only open as his partner have Gaylesque SR(Trescothick that is)..so that keeps the balance. Having prior in the team also helps as he can play anywhere between 1-7 :D

Plus i have so many openers..specially Cook who is a class even in this format on the bench...this is my draft XI..not my strongest or main XI.

Denver Broncos 159/7 defeated Miami Heat 92/10 (final)-Warm Up Game

Miami Heat Started their campaign with a huge defeat against Denver Broncos. Winning the toss, and putting the opposition into bat, Denver Broncos ended up scoring 159-7. Mohammad Hafeez was the pick of the bowler for Heat's with 4 wickets for 17 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, needing 8 runs per over, Heat's batsman crumble under pressure against some quality bowling from M.Morkel, S. Ajmala and S. Narine, and eventually got bowled out for only 92 as only 3 batsman reached double digit for the Heats. However, the positive from this game was Mohammad Hafeez, who was adjusted as MOM.

LA Kings @ Miami Rangers

Toss: LA Kings (bowl)

http://i.imgur.com/mraaL.png

http://i.imgur.com/Pr2VE.png

Final: Miami who won by 5 runs.
Man of the Match: David Hussey

Report: de Villiers won the toss and not surprisingly decided to bowl first to use the early conditions on a relatively even pitch. Early on Kings' bowlers were unable show any impact and started to regret their decision to bowl first once the in-form Heat opener got off to a flying start. Once Trescothick departed without reaching his 50, things went down hill and the Kings managed to pull the Heat down to only 131 runs.

Just like their bowlers, their top order batsmen did not start well either, losing 2 wickets in first two balls without putting anything on the board. In came David Hussey, who wasn't overwhelmed by the situation and took the attack to his countryman Nannes. Together Hussey and AB put on an aggressive partnership. Once Hussey fell to Afridi, AB was running out of proper batting partners on the other end. Abdur Razzak unable to take on Hafeez's strict bowling caused more troubles for de Villiers. In the end Heat's defense was too good and we all witnessed yet another exciting nail-bitter.

Nail biting finish:)

Miami Heat Qualifies for the playoffs with another nail bitting finish

After losing the toss on a slowish track, Dirk Nannes gave Heat's the usual breakthrough in the very first over, which was overshadow by the "one and only" Chris Gayle for few overs. Coming to bowl in the 5th over, Nannes 3rd, he was smashed for a four by Gayle but very next ball, Nannes had the last laugh where he bowled a yorker with such a pace that even Gayle was so late to bring his bat on time. As CG got out, KC's RR started to drop every over, and at the end of 20, they managed to put on a formidable score of 133 for 8. Dirk Nannes got 2 wickets, and M. Starc, D. Mascharenhas, G. Dockrell & Mo Hafeez was among the wicket too.

In reply, Heat's opener Marcus Trecothik & Mohammad Hafeez started with a flyer, tearing apart KC's bowling attack, until the world number 1 All-rounder Shakib Al Hassan came to the action, who eventually got better of Trescothick. From, 77-1 in 6.4 overs, it looked to be an one sided match, but Heat's middle order had different idea. Mo Hafeez and skipper S. Raina was also dismissed in the next over, leaving Heat on 83-3. At this point, Heat's were still ahead but tight bowling from the world number one AR Shakib made it harder for Heat's to score runs. In the meantime, Heat's didn't lose any wicket, and that was the key. However, on the 16th and 17th over, there was another twist, where Heat's lost 3 key batsman, including 2 of their set batsman. Luckyly, the RRR was below 4, so D. Mascarenhas could see Heat's home in another high voltage game.
