Something wrong with the itinerary or its not complete.

How come Bangladesh plays 4 ODI and the rest two (including the host) plays 3 ??
Also 2 back to back games with just one rest day in between would be tough task for our ladies.

Women cricketers go to Ireland
Sports Reporter

The Bangladesh women's cricket team will leave Dhaka tonight for Ireland to participate in a tri-nation ODI and T20I series featuring the hosts and Pakistan from August 20-29 in Dublin.

Captain Salma Khatun had high hopes of the tour as she said that the trip creates a chance for them to show their improvement on the international stage even though they will face two tough opponents in the series.

“I think our team is now in better shape and we are looking forward to play good cricket on the tour so we can prove our improvement in international cricket,” said Salma Khatun yesterday.

“It will be a fantastic experience for our cricketers to play in different conditions. We know Ireland will be tough opponents in their own conditions, as will Pakistan, but we are confident about securing good results,” she added.

Salma also rated their new coach Oshadee Werrasinghe highly. The former Sri Lankan all-rounder took charge of the Bangladesh women's cricket team on July 20 for six months.

Wow!!! That was a close loss.

And would you look at the bowling figure! How nicely rotated bowling.
The one bowled well got a chance to finish their quota. So simple yet so rare in our A or U19 teams.

The captain (Salma) and the coach knows what they are doing or trying to do. Dont see same intelligence in under 19 or in the A team. Not only those coaches dont know how to select the right combination, they rarely have a smart gameplan.

from the scorecards what i can assume, kubra has been bowling very well indeed
like our men's team, spin is our point of strength. don't think these pitches wud suite that type of bowling

doesn't matter whether ireland has got test status or not, they will be beaten 9j/10 times in our conditions.

They only just recently got ODI status. Now its all about scheduling. The women play FAR fewer tests then the men. It might be yearsbefore the BD women get to play a test.

For example, there was only ONE Test all of last year. None in 2010. Once again only one in 2010. Both were between Aus and Eng.

The Dutch played their first (and probably last) Test in 2007.

No offence but women cricket is boring. No im not saying this because of the lack of pretty girls, its just because of the lack of intensity.

Cricket needs raw strength, bowling pace, hitting, diving, all this needs a lot of energy
