Hello Night_Wolf, was thinking Gilchrist in the option too but thought Gilchrist needs to concentrate on Wicket Keeping and as he also will open the batting, wanted to take the pressure off him

Hello Jadukor, might send Watson at middle order and open with Gambhir depending on how the team performs in warm-up matches

i reckon your team is very balanced. Steve Smith can finish the innings off really well so their is no weak lower order IMO. Gambhir and Symonds would be a nice combo in the middle overs. Miller can hit. Styris to do the all round duties. Opening pair will send fireworks. Solid bowlers. Nice team

Philadelphia Flyers had first Training Session ahead of Warm Up Matches
Philadelphia Flyers practiced very hard today under supervision of Justin Langer and Allan Donald. "Everyone passed the fitness test today and looked to be in fine shape", said Langer after the session.

are you really planning to play Gilchrist in starting XI?
In IPL as his age increased, his performance has been going down.

I'm playing him as an outstanding keeper and as for batting any good start around 30 or 40+ which he'll get in pretty quick time will be vital for the team; not to mention he has the ability to take the game away from the opposition at any time

I was saying becuase he was pretty much struggling in IPL and his main reason for retirement was his lack of performance due to old age.
