- Note even with 5 Rangers' ALRs sim didn't mess up the bowling rotation. So that speculation about having more than 2-3 alr is invalid.

- Also turned down and turned of most of the part timers such as Kohli, Masakadza and Tesco. They won't bowl anymore. But guys like Ash, KP, KOB, Hafeez might.

- Shakib failed with the bat in a T20 match but killed it with the ball. This sim is very real!

Shoaib Malik has an average over 35 in batting! yet in the last Three MLC game, he averages less than 10! failed in both warm up and last round game!

So what? If you expect Shoab Malik to score 35 runs every single match then you are truly a lunatic.

sorry dilscoop man, don't be angry! I am not saying anything about you, Sometimes I doubt the sim bro. but anyways.

Its not only Dilscoop who should be angry. Everyone is annoyed by the fact how you think this game should revolve around you and your selfishness. Dilscoop is trying to make this is fun and he has to deal with you and your attitude of thinking that you should win every single match and how EVERYTHING should go your way. Imran Nazir the best t20 batsmen after Gayle? Stay off the bong bro...

I have Shaun Marsh who averages 41 and has a strike rate of 134. But guess what? In both the innings he played so far he has scored less then 10 runs. Am i complaining? No im not. Because it can happen in real match situations. So you shouldnt be complaining as well. Shaun Marsh is a better T20 batsmen then Nazir. And also i have Michael Hussey who has an average of 40 and a strike rate of 126 and he too hasnt scored more then 10 runs yet. QUIT YOUR SELFISHNESS.

TBH the sim has some serious bowling rotation issues

Might be for some. But MSM put Stuart Broad as captain

I have Mike Hussey as my captain and he has been rotating the bowling quite effectively. I know that Zunaid bhai had Morgan as captain and didnt work out even though Morgan has captained. But i reckon the sim notices true quality captains. So if you picked Ponting in your team and also as captain then the bowling choices would be more effective then Stuart Broad being captain.

I wanted to warn Z about that crazy line up he published that had all the press going nuts. Now they will go nuttier seeing that scorecard. But I didn't want to warn him, so everyone can see that as an example, also then it would "cheating" of me give him advise, so I didn't. I knew the sim would go crazy once it saw that long batting line up with only 2 bowlers! And it did.

I think by now everyone should know a lot depends on the line-up. And your teams have played decent number of games so you can kinda-sorta figure out what works for your team. So try your best

Just a quick reminder. AllStar-Break is coming up. Teams will have to release a pair of their top performers. And MLC will then put together 2 teams, North v South.

My initial plan was to make it fall on the Eid break. But that didn't work out. Also I was going to ask the MLC fans to vote and pick their ALL STARS, out of the top performers in the league, just to get the fans involved. That too won't be in play this time around.

I'll publish the stats soon, once our very own S NW Rajesh sends me the updated charts, that way it'll be easier for the GMs to vote their own ALLSTARS to represent the teams and no doubt, the ALL-STARS' own countries, in front of whole America and the World.

---------------------------------

** I removed the reports from the last 2 scores since none of the other scores have reports on them. I did report on those 2, because those 2 didn't get enough live updates like everyone else. Here they are ...

Game 11 Report: de Villiers won the toss and not surprisingly decided to bowl first to use the early conditions on a relatively even pitch. Early on Kings' bowlers were unable show any impact and started to regret their decision to bowl first once the in-form Heat opener got off to a flying start. Once Trescothick departed without reaching his 50, things went down hill and the Kings managed to pull the Heat down to only 131 runs.

Just like their bowlers, their top order batsmen did not start well either, losing 2 wickets in first two balls without putting anything on the board. In came David Hussey, who wasn't overwhelmed by the situation and took the attack to his countryman Nannes. Together Hussey and AB put on an aggressive partnership. Once Hussey fell to Afridi, AB was running out of proper batting partners on the other end. Abdur Razzak unable to take on Hafeez's strict bowling caused more troubles for de Villiers. In the end Heat's defense was too good and we all witnessed yet another exciting nail-biter.

Game 12 Report: Toronto Tyrants camp surprised everyone when Kohli won the toss and announced that they will be bowling first. Known for their explosive openers in Warner-McCullum, better known as the dynamic-duo, people were right to be surprised to not see them come out before everyone else. Instead they got to see the other explosive opener, not so ordinary, none other than V Sehwag. TT was hoping to get rid of him early, but Sehwag had other plans. Sehwag, later joined by Franklin, was looking to steal the tag away from Warner-McCullum. Bulls knew that they'd have to post a huge total to have chance against the duo. They believed in Sehwag-Pollard to deliver that for them, but Franklin didn't mind chipping in.

The double-D of TT was broken up in the 2nd ball of the inning, and thereon TT lost wickets frequently throughout the chase. Bulls didn't allow TT to build any sort of partnership and it was all a safe ride home. Samaraweera's fighting inning late in the order did give the TT some hope, but it wasn't an one man job.

2 bowlers only? What has the simulator been smoking? Time for me to sit down and code my own simulator.

I'll try something interesting next game - use a randomizer to pick my 11. I bet the simulator will just love it.

BTW - for the all star game:

Swann
Morgan

Dilscoop

I believe Swann and Mitch was the only 2 bowlers in your last line-up? Am I wrong? They are the only ones who went for <7/over. lol your attack helped the Nationals get the first ever 200+ score in MLC, when avg score in MLC pitches is around about 130-140.

You also have McCullum and Johnson amongst others. McCullum went for 59 runs in his three overs. Unless the simulator thought it was the other B McCullum - all I can do is worry about spot fixing. And Misbah had Guptil bowl. SMH. Time to change captain once again.

Great turnout. Players really enjoyed playing against almost 100k fans, representing their franchises and their country. They wore their own franchise jersey with their national hat/helmet. All these players have unlocked 2 special skills based on their real life game. MoM got 3. From now on more skills will be activated slowly, based on the coaches you'd hired etc. Some will get couple more, some might not (if there aren't any relative ones available).

I think that's it for the day/night. K_Sox wasn't here today. I'll have to give him at least 24 hrs (not that long anymore, we are in a "Rush Mode." Technically we should still be on the first half of the season or on the AS game. So he's ok.

Round 8 starts once I have the line up from the Flyers. Until then, g'night, take care. I gotta get up at really early tomorrow.

That's fair considering you already had played 3 games before the All-star break, with last 2 of them very close together.

And no. It's most likely to be 0-1 day. As I sad I'm really trying to hurry this up before my classes start.

Experimenting with the line up, Ajfar?

Yes and No. I needed to get rid of Finch he hasn't performed yet. Coventry played a decent knock so he moves up the order. Hodge had a good game at the beginning but I dropped him, so I figure he will give a boost to the batting line up and since I dropped Sunny he can make up with his spin. Hales is still untested, so he needs a few games ahead of the playoffs hopefully. And Botha has a really good T20 average, so time to find out weather he is just a minnow basher or not.

With that kinda lineup if a team loses, it clearly is a sign. The Simulation has issues.
