Honestly bro I was going to say that but thought I leave that for the female members to comment.

I edited the video and cut the news anchor off. I am telling you she was looking in her monitor with great interest.

You stay at home for 2-3 months and don't go out under the Sun, your skin will get fresh. Same thing happened with Rubel. He has been staying home for a long time. That's why he looks very fresh. And camera light also made him look fair :)

Did T&T declare their squad for matches against BCB XI? I wanted to do a fantasy league for this tournament. I made all the files from by using the T&T squad from cricinfo but not sure if it's correct. I figured since there won't be any television broadcast, at least if we made a fantasy league out of this we would have something to look forward to.

T&T to face Bangladesh, Afghanistan in T20s at QP Oval

Sorry for off-topic:

But when our team is heading to WI to play T&T??? the first game suppose to be on the 30th Aug, which is 2 days from now on...

The tournament, which takes place from September 6-8 with two matches per day, was launched at the Oval yesterday with All Sport Promotions marketing director Anthony Harford announcing a winner's purse of US$50,000.

Did T&T declare their squad for matches against BCB XI? I wanted to do a fantasy league for this tournament. I made all the files from by using the T&T squad from cricinfo but not sure if it's correct. The matches will be broadcast live in Bangladesh and across the Caribbean.

Mohammad Rokibul Hasan Nauyon de la Roca y Jamapura is the solution to all our problems and woes. Our domestic set up is far better than anyone else's in elite cricket, and is absolutely the best place to develop world beaters. Naturally anyone who can hit a barrage of 30 meter :six:s during hitting practice in our country can clear the ropes beyond 100 meters anywhere against anyone.

Keeping him and other winners like Mohammad Nazimuddin de la Chita y Gonga and Kazi Shahadat Hossain del Rajib out of the national team is tantamount to treason. At least Jahural Islam al'Aumi is still there to assure us with his unbreakable mental fortitude and Ponting-like batting prowess.

Lol Sohel Bhai..i had so high hopes for da rock when he hit that 300, not because of i rate that 300 very much(Due to our domestic cricket's class) but i was amazed that one of our players had the patience to bat for such a long time, Sadly da rock came out to be that one hit wonder in the wrong place

where is sunny? we need 3 LAS.

In West Indies condition, you don't expect 4 spin bowlers to bowl.

Elias Sunny, Abdur Razzak, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Raid!

Except sunny the later three is enough and riad should bowl his full quota.

drop farhad reza. you want abul, mash, reza and zia? nice to have all the bowling options but no doubt sunny is a far better bowler than at least 3 of those pacers (reza, zia and abul) and in t20s he's probably a better bowler than mash.

Since when West Indies became grassy green pitches? Now a days West Indies pitches offer fair bit of help for spinners. Sunny is one of the most consistent performers now in the team, can't leave him out even if it means 3 SLAs.

I did bro, the pitches were different, both teams pacers struggled.

In sri Lanka they have relaid the pitch and now even a worse bowler becomes a solid one.

Good pictures. I can see division in the team already. Tamim is sitting with the management, then there is middle orders gossiping about the management and then theres the tail which included Nasir, Shafiul and Jahurul sitting by themselves, not talking to anyone. Akram on the other hand, far left the first picture, working on some deal with the Sri Lankan management to get a "Large Size" Coke. Mash is, as usual, upto no good, doing 'tanki baji' with Lankans young girls. Razzak is telling Zia siltting comfortably, 'Are mia, ami to eikhane relax korte ashchi'!!

Facelift to porei, let's get some more flights going through Shahjalal first! People will raise a hue and cry if the Govt. starts spending huge sums of money on refurbishing the airport without expanding our flight coverage. If there are more flights, it will necessitate a renovation.

If you do not remember about Ash as a bowler, you should go back to last world cup, against ireland.
Ash bowled superbly. Ash should be used more because of his variation. Shakib started the politics initially against ash and mash.

Nayeem/Mahmud Ullah probably better containing bowler and Mahmud Ullah most likely our best death bowler. Variety-wise Ash is probably one of the best when nothing is working.

But, bringing Rajjaq/Zia as death bowler or containing would be more dangerous. Rajjaq shouldn't be at all in consideration in death for bowling as well as batting.

If opponents need three run for two ball, you send Rajjaq to bat, the match is gone.
If opponents need run a ball or closer or even more for the last few overs, you send rajjaq the match is gone.

affan_ayan
September 12, 2012, 06:30 PM
There was a typo:

One more thing, in world cup, if you see tall batsman with unusual stance against spin like Jacob Oram, Kevin Obrien or Abdul Rajjak of pakistan do not send regular spin bowlers (sunny/shakib/rajjak) specially at death. You better send Ullah or Ash.

Pacer wise, it can be Mash or the new Abul.

My memory of Ash bowling in T-20 is horrible. I still remember how he almost lost us the game going for 55 in 4 overs against WI in the T-20 WC in South Africa. The only reason people don't remember his pathetic decision to bowl himself is because He played an amazing innings with Aftab to win us that game.

I'd like to see the Coaching Staff use these upcoming days wisely. This can be a long tournament or it can be a short tournament, which would be a shame considering the resources used in preparing for this event.

You know your playing NZ, have the top 3 practice against SLA, because it's more than probable that Vettori will open the bowling. I don't want it to be a shock to the openers that Spinner is opening. Cut a deal with Ireland and Zimbabwe and have a Ray Price and Docrell to open the bowling. If Vettori does open, I want him to get tonked for 15 in the 1st over with the PP restrictions instead of the Scorecard reading 1/0.

Samething in regards to Pakistan, find anybody in that island that bowls like Hafeez and have TIK ready.

Jadukor
September 13, 2012, 02:01 AM
I read the Pallekele conditions are pace friendly so against Pakistan the openers need to play well against the seamers as well. If Tamim allows himself to settle down for couple of overs before going berserk, it would increase our chances greatly

Nah, they hardly care about EPL or any other European league for that matter. Its all due to time zone. Most of the european matches start at mid night AEST. So, even though people want to watch, they can't. Beside, all those games are covered by pay channel and its very expensive.

I don't see Mark Waugh saying anything wrong, he was spot on. In this T20 format we don't have that world class player who can win us a match single handedly, we might argue and say Shakib & Tamim, but not proven. I think he was trying to say that if bangladesh play as a unit then we can win matches as we don't have the world class name in our team that can guide us to the next level. Inshallah atleast super eight should be our first target.:flag:

Im guessing MH Rubel bhai does know what is AFL. Its not called AFL footy. Its just AFL. And also rugby league is much more popular amongst Sydneysiders than AFL. Melbourne is AFL crazy.

I know it's funny, it's kinda like Rugby but they use their feet as well to kick the ball....inshort, both hands and feet are used :D

The real name of the sport is Australian Rules Football and played mainly in Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. MCG is the centre point of this sport. Melbournians call it the 'G'. Jamie Siddons used to play this sport before moving to cricket. Although the sport isn't popular internationally its Australia's most watched sport.
