so u didnt put riyad who was highest average holding run getter for bangladesh on test when he finished his 8th test , but u did put nasir hossain who just finished 8 test and thinking he is already a better batsman than riyad , my friend riyad still hold the 2nd highest average for bangladesh on odi , so i dont know how u try to predict the player future average where u didnt put the 2nd best batsman , useless

Abul gets a vote but no vote for 'Sir Ash'

Even Die hard Ash fans don't dare to vote for Ash in this thread :D

Unless you're a lower order "not out hog" with batting ability and the odd big score with a * next to it, only someone with a high batting average needs to ability to consistently score lots of seemingly effortless 50s with the ability to convert to 100s and beyond. So, I'm going to mention 4 candidates here. I feel Mushfiq, Nasir and Bijoy will finish their careers with averages around the mid 40s. Tamim will too provided he does all three of the following, starting right now:

1) Divorce Mssrs. Benson and Hedges. Threesomes aren't good for opening batsmen from Chittagong.
2) End his love affair with Mrs. Camilla Parker Biriyani, AKA Kachchi to family and close friends.
3) Stop flirting with Ms. Usila Excuses before things get really serious between them.

Good to see Tamim breaking the 40 barrier in tests...look forward to seeing him get closer to 45 in the next couple of years.
Shak is a few decimal points below 40.
Mushi should cross 35 in a couple of series' and eventually get to 40.
New breed players like SS should target 40 by the time they play 10 matches.
Mominul's average is bound to drop sooner or later but I hope he maintains 50+
