Have France overcome their internal strife and are finally ready to do justice to all the talent in the team, especially without Ribery? One can never know. My heart's with Los Catrachos but I think France will win this 1-0.

The Swiss believe themselves to be at the cusp of becoming an elite team and I don't share that assessment. Traditionally, Ecuador play the most non-Latin soccer in the continent and I don't see this turning out to be anything other than a 0-0 draw.

Muktijoddha S on steroids-0 Sheikh Russell KC on steroids-0. Ecuador have a player by the name of Guagua and my little nephews and nieces watching the game can't stop laughing.

Still no scoreless game in this World Cup. Wow!

and no draws ..... perhaps the draws will be seen in the second round and games will be decided by tie-breakers

Sohel
June 15, 2014, 11:25 AM
Montero is very good but always has one touch too many for the modern game. He needs triangulated support around him and a finisher trying to get open.

Sohel
June 15, 2014, 11:26 AM
and no draws ..... perhaps the draws will be seen in the second round and games will be decided by tie-breakers

The Swiss coach is like 113 years old.

Sohel
June 15, 2014, 12:36 PM
At least Mukti are trying to score. Sk. Russell seem satisfied defending a lead they no longer have. Drugs?

Sohel
June 15, 2014, 12:43 PM
An advancing Ecuadorian player never gets support from his teammates. Naturally he runs into a crowd and then predictably loses the ball. They're obviously coached by Mahmudullah Riyad.

al-Sagar
June 15, 2014, 12:44 PM
deflection was taking it away from the Gk but saved in the end

Ecuador are punished for their disgusting and unnecessary negativity and offensive disorganization. The Swiss pull this off for being the more positive side.

al-Sagar
June 15, 2014, 12:51 PM
minute ago it could have been a equador goal..... but the equador player took too much time, the brave swiss defender made an wonderful tackle .... and on the counter wonderful attack and finishing

The French are back. It's all over for for the CONCACAF side. This French team will continue to gel and get better. But I'm not sure how far they can go without Ribery. Pogba is something else.

Ribery this ribery that..as good as ribery is..watching him for past 6 months he's been terribly out of form..mostly living by tag..much like tamim..on the other hand you have one of the most talented youngster in world football today in griezamn who's under radar in every big club, I personaly believe it was a blessing in disguise, French people all wanted ribery out cause they knew he just wasn't the same player, again very much like tamim, we know how mmrubbish he actually is..

Mmw. France will go finals.

France are a far superior side who seem to have left the ghost of that retard Domenech behind them. As "promising" as the Swiss may seem to some, I think the French will crush them 3-1 or 4-1. Allez Les Bleus!

Sohel
June 20, 2014, 02:14 AM
Honduras were very disappointing and just fell apart in their first match, and it won't be easy to bounce back against a tough side like Ecuador. I see the Andeans win this 2-0.
