Intellegence is the big thing the above is missing in Australian spying.
Other than the list of past gripes (eg not working on holidays etc ) that have haunted this mob in the past.
I am dumbfounded that when yesterday when our national security was threatened by some bunch of outcasts calling themselves "yellow & red" something. I did a simple "google" search typing in "yellow and red" and ignoring the pages of flowers that came up on the first screen , hit the "groups" button and top of the list was "yellow and red" Burmese disadent group who were arguing about being kicked out of Thailand.
Which surprise surprise was where the message alerting the terrorist threat came from.
Not only has this alluded Australian lack intelligence but also the Australian Press .:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:

I'm sure they have a credible intel agency. It's just that their Cray mainframe was overloaded tracking and blocking Shane Warne's dirty text messages.

Nations with intelligent people do not require intelligence agencies.
