I don't understand why the hosting rights weren't' taken away from Qatar after revelation of all those corruption.

Russia then Qatar - that's 8 years of second thoughts for anyone wanting to visit. But i doubt demand for tickets will be any less.

It's a shame US lost the bid.

Its a shame England lost the bid... USA just learned to play football (soccer) and they hosted the world cup in 94.

Fifa is the most corrupt organisation in the world.
Russia is a dangerous place for any supporter and how the heck does Qatar get to host. That is a country with no footballing history whatsoever. Disgrace..... Now the workers from Nepal and Bangladesh are dying as a consequence of Fifa's corruption.

Lastly why seek Pakistan's assistance. The country is suffering from terrorism for past couple of decades. Their army still funds Jihadis to fight a dirty war in India administered Kashmir.

There is no point in being ultra nationalistic. Bangladesh does a lot of things wrong (eg Corruption) and to correct them we have to first accept the problem. Similarly Pakistani Army is the worst sort of example to follow.

no one is trying to be ultra nationalist here. no one is perfect. pakistan army took part WOT and already engaged in many Operations, thats how they are correcting thre mistakes. but thres a difference between what india thinks or what other thinks.
if pakistani army is one of the worst example thn other countries shouldnt seek thre assistance/training etc. or they shouldnt invite to give training in royal military college etc. even mostly central asian and asian muslims/ non-muslims countries army personnals got trained in pakistan.
one shouldnt believe on indian propoganda with close eyes.
if we go with the indian view here thn you should consider reading about IHRC reports on kashmir.

I am sure if alive than Mr bin laden would have approved your statement. .

and i am sure you know who trained Mr bin laden in first place.
and if you dont know thn you can ask US or CIA for that.

and Pakistan didnt know about Bin laden location in pakistan. thats what POTUS said to the world.
so if you dont believe the pakistan thn you should believe on US or CIA.

If you want to discuss the very many flaws, machination and misconduct of Pakistani Army than I would be happy to oblige but this is probably not the thread.

And while CIA did fund Pakistani Army to train the mujahid's to fight the soviets in Soviet Afghan war, but they neither funded or trained bin-laden. He was a son of a rich business tycoon who came to Afghanistan with his own money.

It was the master plan of CIA in the reply of soviet union invading afghanistan.
Saudia arabia, israelies all were part of it not only pakistan. Pakistan had no option becoz its border with afghanistan, and with super power country pressurizing us, also we had to stop soviet army becoz we will be the next target if they have conquered afghanistan.
and also on that time pakistan was busy in developing nuclear bomb. we couldn't put our nuclear project on hold. it wasnt easy decision for pakistan.
but we did what we had to do.

obviously , no one wants to say it loud and clear, that it was CIA who created him in first place, becoz a super power cant be a escape goat.'
but everyone will find a soft target like pakistan to be a escape goat on internet/forums and put all blame on it. why all blame on pakistan ? not Saudis or israelis or US ? but only pakistan.

if you know the geo-politics of this region thn you will know it better. but if you dont know thn i cant help you.
also i dont think i need to do more discussion on same old 1000 times repeated topic like this.
thanks

Some no-name defense analyst mentioned it without any proof or documentation to back up his claim, You can also find PAkistani defense analyst by the name of Zaid Hamid make thousand of hilarious claims. In either case, even if CIA created him, he was still the most wanted man living near a garrison city in Pakistan.

Also Pakistani military did not develop nuclear bomb, they stole the design and later was charged with trying to sell it to hostile countries.

Not to mention the army is responsible for mass rape and murder in present day Bangladesh (during 71) and Balochistan.

Pakistan is usually the go-to country for the Gulf states when it comes to national security and military affairs seeing as how they are one of the rare Muslim countries that have an experienced and a decently advanced army. Plus they're pretty loyal and heed the call whenever the Gulf states call on them.
