12 bucks for 1 test :(
I think our best hope still is homeviewbangladesh.com . Everyone should email them that they want BTV live feed when BD vs WI match goes on. They seem to always live feed Channel I. Before they had BTV most of the time. Don't know what happened. Feed is pretty good, if you have fast connection. Their natok (drama) from BTV and other channels is good too, watched some yesterday :)

Raj - I believe that is not homeviewbd specific. Some continental CISCO routers are currently busted.

Dear all
We've received many requests to show btv. But as you know it is expensive to brodcast live stream on the net. Real.com itself charges $250/100MB of live stream. As a technical member of homeviewbangladesh.com I am trying to get feedback from people if they are willing to pay for live broadcast. Please post your comment so that we can see if we will be able to put live tv subscription service. THank you.

I'm willing to pay as long as the quality is better than the current channel i broadcast, the pictures freezes a lot and I'm on broadband 600kbps connection.
How much would it cost for all of the matches?

I am willing to pay as well if its reasonable and as opening batsman said, if the quality is decent.

Asif bhai, nice to see you here.
To ease the burden on most folks, what you (HVB) can do is run a "POLL" on the homeview site. Put it on a visible location so people can see it and vote. At this moment, our interest is strictly for cricket. If you can also put up some taped cricket interviews (of cricketers/BCB boss what not. maybe even snaps from national team training) later on it will increase your viewership. You can expect more kudos from Bangladesh cricket fans and especially from each member of this board.
I can set up a message board for you to put up as link so people can come in and leave messages so you get more then a yes/no answer (which you'll get from POLL). Also gives you a chance to interact with them directly.
Also, since you are in the tech team, can you change the cricket link on the HVB site? I have closed down the teststaus.com site some time ago. We moved to Banglacricket.com. The old link is under "Bangladesh Cricket" in the links section.
Much thanks.

i would be willing to pay as well.
you should keep your prices competitive and base it on the quality of your transmission. you'll find a lot of pricing info from other sources on the web such as the earlier post from willowtv.com - pak vs zimbabwe odis are about US$9. BD may need to be same or less.
If you need help setting up online payments, pricing, etc on homeview, I work with a payment processing company that can help you (see www.tangiblepayments.com). You can send me your contact info or email me separately at rahmed@tangiblesoftware.com

All you ppl had to do is buy some Iftari, then the TV would have been free. Pushing your luck with your sensitive e-mails - How the hell did you ppl make that guy come here anyway? That's some amazing e-mails you sent....
I will post my response after I see the quality of the video from 'test' trial and the ofcourse the price. This is also assuming that the ppl at my place are not showing the game on big screen for 3 bux.
Oh yeah, I never understood how those credit card charge works. how do they verify that it's an existing card - amazing!! Do they have like a whole database for all the credit card ever made?

Its a real live authentication. Just like you go to a store and they swap the card, and it dials to the card company, and gets an approval, same on the web.
As for when you enter the number and it tells its invalid, simple. There are some number rules, this checks that. Like master card should start with 5 and visa with 4 and so on.
