Well, folks, I don't feel too bad after that final because in the end, it simply came down to luck. For whatever reason, destiny refuses to smile at us on these occasions. But I am confident that one day, she will.

Proud of the team and what they achieved.

Fortune favors the brave

Why will fortune favor us.

We kick out coaches who are tough and keep the ones who are easy on the boys

We don't work hard enough during practice or gym sessions or work on mental aspects

You speak of luck but today it wasn't luck that lost us the match. It was our skillset and decision-making

At some time bad luck runs out and you start winning at everything.

Fortune favors the brave. How brave has Bd been at rebuilding? How many chances has it given Rahim to become somewhat consistent (while he still to this day keeps horribly).

Forget luck, even God won't be on our side for our sins.

Aklemalp. I’ve always respected u as a poster, and lover of our cricket as an outsider. I’ll give u a bit of background. As an outsider, but someone who follows our cricket, but yet can obviously get away from the natural emotions and bias us Bengalis on this forum have, do you think we are heading the right way? Are we getting there? Is it only a matter of time until we are one of the elites and we can compete and even win some trophies?

Agreed!

Hathuru was the best medicine for our boys. No one else could get the best out of these lazy bunch. Siddons and Hathuru were the best coaches for BD and it's sad that both were asked to or forced to leave :(

Force in the sense that the whole team went against him and was not co-operating with and left him with no choice than to leave

We have made giant leaps in the past 19 years, we have moved from modern dances to more complex cultural dances.

To be honest, this nagin dance is over the top celebration! We didn't even got to the top 5 yet and coming up with this attitude is immature. It's immatured from Gavaskar as well. This dance is completely classless. The best way to treat is to win and just give them a cold look and smile. You don't want to be an animated fool and let the whole world laugh at you. There is every possibility that next series BD will lose pathetically and you just gave everyone a chance to make fun of you with nagin dance. If this dance came after winning a world cup maybe then it could have been justified somehow (even then I personally wouldn't like it and will always find it classless). Anyways enjoy the moment while it lasts ...

When has luck ever been on our side. Bangladesh is that kid that sits the back of the class, thinks he is all smart but when it comes to test time fails miserably.

FINALLY!! Someone that agrees with minorities of the forum

Yea I agree hundred per cent. But apparently the naagin dance is natural response to emotional release because it falls under the code of conduct.

Current Bangladesh team is a lot like Lindsay Lohan, there is alot going on. Even our manager joined in on the Naagin dance, just shows the state of our cricket at the moment. Utter shambles.

Yes, this kind of emotional release suits a child not a mature, calm and composed person. These type of celebration just shows that we still have a long way to go before we are considered an adult in the cricketing world!

Oh tai naki? missed it then lol !

What is your source for this? Hathuri was offered the top job in his own country so of course he wanted to take it.

Current team is more like D Trump. Only a few like the full selection of the team while the other majority hope that the team doesnt fully disgrace themselves. Kicking out good advisers (coaches) who want to make positive impact and criticise the team.
