Hey guys I am back but not with a good news. I have been rejected from MMU. Should I try again for this uni or should I go to Coventry from where I got an offer?

MMU doesn't know what they missed. To hell with...

Everything happens for a reason. Is Coventry cheaper? What are the transfer rules? I have know idea.

I don’t have any idea about that too but I am basing my opinion on the Group chats of the unis and the fact that Coventry is a crap place and also there were some pretty good birds in MMU chat

Ranking very low, **** university, why don't you apply to oxford or Cambridge. Its ranked 700+, I rather get educated by a mud hut class room.

P.S Message Mas_UK guy goes to Oxford university, so pretty sure he knows what he is doing.

Why would I want to go to nerdy uni when I could go where there are hot girls?

Why even go to univ then if all you care about is hot girls?

There is a hot university in Dhaka near tanbazaar. You should apply there. Let us know if you need letters of recommendation.

Aren't you a billionaire? why even go to uni? Anyways, on an unrelated note, I was just accepted to MMU. The admissions office said it was a good thing I applied when I did, they only had 1 spot left!!!

Don't go to university, give up your spot to someone who needs, search up brothels close to your area if your so desperate.

I spent countless hours studying, missing out on parties, mela's and dawats, in order to further my education, screw this next generation all facebook and vlogging, I will be surprised if you guys last 20 years.

Even as I type, there was a boishaki mela 5 km from my house, a girl I really liked was going, but no I decided to stay at home and do my research assignment, because I know stuff like that will come and go, but knowledge will stay forever.

So, you want to go to uni for girls?
I got news for you. When you are in uni, there will be so much pressure from courseworks, you won't get time for yourself, forget about girls!
Manchester uni is meh... I would be concerned why you got rejected from a crap uni. It's not as if you got rejected from Cambridge.

I think you are a little delusional. That vbloggin generations - many are making lot of money. And you are very much immersed into this site - I do'nt see how you are any different except you are not being paid.

Not able to go to a mela due to "assignment" is actually all on you. Time managemetn is a good skill to have. Just studyign all day is gonna get you so far.

Wait till you start looking for jobs if not already.. your GPA is gonna matter minimal - it's that guy you watched a football game with who is gonna get u a damn good job.

One of my buddy hooked me up with my current job - they are not advertised.. It made a huge difference in the quality of my life... I was about to sign up for a 6 days work week slavery - he prevented that...now I am on 3 days :) it's little things in life that makes a big big difference.

It wasn't an insult, merely an observation. This explains why so many phrases and "tone" completely go over your head. Not to mention the cringy ".....". Not your fault, you're just limited in your comprehension.

What is your fault is the fact that you are a sad sack with a huge Napolean complex. Don't pretend otherwise. It oozes out of your posts like bile. This is why you take things so personally, even on an anonymous forum. And why you go out of your way to needlessly pick fights. Sad.

Education is overrated. And so it doesn't matter where you go as long as you outshine the competition that is available there. So prioritize what is it that you want. And then select the option that is made available to you. Don't look back.

Napoleon complex . That's is a very curry thing to say .

This is not an anonymous forum ... for you ..yes .

Maybe that's why it's easy for u to open one idiotic thread after another making vile comments about ppl of your neighboring countries ...

You don't have to correct my English .. it's good enough for my needs :) I don't have a term paper due at age of 30

April 7, 2018, 08:24 PM
^^ actually its not good enough, your "english" is embarrassingly s*** to say the least.

You're right, I'm being anonymous. Looks like I will have to attend the next NYC meetup. Would be good to meet a keyboard warrior in person. Look down on the pos in the flesh and blood. Should be fun!

Education is important but there are other factors in life that are equally important to get a good job, education does not only mean the university education you get, you need to update yourself in your line of work everyday. along with that you need to have good network with people. as idumb said the guy you watch football with has a better chance of getting you into a good job but if you are not capable enough he or anybody else that matters cant do **** for you

Never stop learning, never stop reading. Got rejected from one university, so what? It is not a big deal, just apply to another one. show some initiative, make effort. Have you figured out what you want to study? If nothing else works for you, then take some online courses or go to your local community college. Coursera offers many courses for free.

This totally depends on you what you want from a Uni. Also what subject are you pursuing. If the course is accredited see which other unis fall under the same accreditation.

If this is a British uni then here is my advice on how to select:
- Rankings, even though this may be flawed but it gives you some idea of which University is in the grand scheme of things. If its below the top 50 then I would try to avoid.
- Best to avoid a poly technique turned University
- Look at the lecturers experience. If alot of your course instructors are non English better to avoid.
- Visit the campus, accommodation, library, gym etc. A good uni will always have a better environment. Also look at the kind of students that are studying there.

What is your obsession with MMU? Can you tell us what MMU stand for so i can search what's so special about this school.

If you are being serious, and not trolling, I would highly suggest you go to the school you are accepted to rather than wait and waste time.

No hassle as long as you're comfortable with it. In the end, you will be the one who will be there for 4 years.

I studied at Warwick for my undergraduate degree and lived in Coventry during my 2nd year. There are a couple of nice (read: greener) areas in the city (e.g. Earlsdon), but for the most part it is a miserable place. There is a reason why "being sent to Coventry" has entered into the English language as a morbid idiom. In some ways, it feels as if the city never recovered from the War.

See.... rejection from uni is nothing, much much better than rejection from a girl. Unlike Uni, once they say no... they rarely change their mind.
