1. Losing or winning is NOT everything, participation is the most important thing.
2. Showing up at the ground is half the battle won.
3. We were NOT all out.
4. We crossed 100 each innings - both games!
5. Stadium had a lots of dorshok - spectators.
6. It is an honor to play a foreign team on the month of Ramadan.
7. We played cricket in India - World's largest cricket playing nation.
8. It was not extremely bad performance given the heat of Summer in India.
9. We lost so what, we have a flying satellite in the orbits looking down on us (no pun on looking down).
10. We lost, and it feels painful - but once Iftar is eaten in the evenign, all pain will be forgotten.
11. Shamner bar dekhaiye dibo, or else white-wash...so what, we will return home with clean clothes.
12.

My take, they didn't think the Afghans had it in them in the first match; batted like bogans and lost badly. Too shaken up in the second and tried to be play safe, lost again. The third match was the closest and showed that all the games were winnable. The BD boys could have done way better in the first two. Show up lads.

Batted like bogans lol, made by day..

If any of you don't know what a bogan is, just imagine a deeply texan redneck, but 5 times worse.

Or anyone who drives a Holden Commodore Ute.

Tbh most bogans are good blokes, lived in a few rough neighborhoods when we first moved here. If you can get past their thick Aussie accent, body odor and their get-up (usually consistent of wife beaters, surf shorts, thongs, obligatory Southern Cross tattoos and an unsightly mullet), I think you'll get along just fine.

- Use experience to use in a shabby domestic tournament like BPL
- Watching players make fun of themselves by doing silly snake like dance moves when celebrating a wicket
- Not doing any premature celebrations in close matches and making fool of oneself
- Not listening to Shamim's pathetic jokes in a low key game
- Not seeing BD politicians faces being focused on the TV over and over again

Form is temporary, class is permanent :D

The problem with many of the current players is that their temporary form is becoming permanent

We lack homework and strategist.

We may have experience, dedication and passion but we lack real-time adaptability with limitation in responding to sudden change.

We do not lack money or facility. Need some vibrant coaching staff, some remodeling in the board and a topnotch combined computer analyst and strategist team.

BCB appointed Shrinivaas Chandrasekaran as a performance analyst before the Tri-nation series. I don't know if he is still working.

Form is temporary, class is permanent - statement was the chief defense of Ashraful fans :D

but you have corrected it - for BD players, lack of form is permanent :(

Still drive a Hilux, a throwback to my tradie days. Most of my childhood buds are from hardworking farmer and tradie families. Not disrespecting them in any way. Heck I'm a bogan too, in a way LOL.

The usage of the term bogan was to denote absolute lethargy and lack of application a few bogans exhibit; akin to how Bangladesh played.
