QC Group, a leading business house of the country, has announced on Wednesday a cash award of Tk 1,00,000 for each of the three century-makers of the Bangladesh cricket team in the first Test match against the West Indies at St Lucia, says a press release. The prize money will be handed over to the centurions - skipper Habibul Bashar, all-rounder Mohammad Rafique and wicketkeeper Khaled Mashud - upon their return to Bangladesh. "This award is a humble recognition of our company for the commitment and effort these cricketers demonstrated to bring pride and respect to our nation," said Jamaluddin Quader Chowdhury, the managing director of the company, while making the announcement.
