Hey everyone. I am doing a social experiment. I think everyone is good at something. You spend inordinate amount of time online or in life cultivating or pursuing a hobby. I am actually looking forward to see if I can get a person as a perfect fit to coach me. It is part of my eternal ruse to know everything as well as try out for TV shows or local trivia night at bars.
What's your expertise?
Here is my self-assessment a la Sherlock Holmes in A Study in Scarlet. Please vote. If I find out if you have godlevel knowledge (For instance ToBeFair in Islam, or say Sohel Nadeem in NHL or say DinRaat in CS... I could certainly use a communique to beef up my own knowledge.) Please help me out.
Art.......................Pretty vast. Deficiencies in Renaissance and contemporary. Strength in 1900s. Above than general
Geography..............Pretty impressive. Knows World Capitals but still needs polishing/brushing up on landmarks and natural features
Eastern religion anecdotes.............Vast
Cricket/History/Stats.....................Again vast
Islam..........................Average
Zoology......................Good book knowledge (emphasis on Birds)
Christianity..................Slightly above average
Judaism.....................Below average.
Hindusim..................Slightly average average
Mathematics/Philosophy..............Good knowledge in theory/zero in number crunching
Shakespeare................Above Average
Botany........................Average
Etc (Too many categories to list..)
But these are what I have about 0 to 10% knowledge
-Pop Culture (Including band names, oldies music/movies/Tv shows/sitcom/rom com.etc)
-American Sports
-Literature (mainly cuz I don't read)
-Colleges and Universities
-Opera/Composers/Classical
-Business companies/Advertising/Stock/Economics
-Bangla songs/poetry ..........Practically nil
IF YOU HAVE ANY UNUSUAL EXPERTISE PLEASE DO SHARE!! (I know offstump likes reading about Nuclear Powerplants lol...)
