The biggest threat to BD batting is the spin duo Salim Malik & Danish Kanaria. Our boys have even struggled against the mediocre Hong Kong spinners. So pls pls pls avoid unwanted pinch or sweep shot and play with the merit of every spin delivery, dear tigers! Best of luck:flag:

We really enforce our all telents, all the way in this game. Both departments (bowling and batting) should be working 100% (not 99%) to compete against paki.
Only way to beat pakistan is to show positive cricket (not kuchakuchi batting, just play normal game. if hit, hit hard).

I think, choose to bat if we win the toss.

I am sorry that some people hurt you, it is not polite at all. Fact is, most of our fans are very emotional, so they say lot of things which they should not have said otherwise, specially if the team was doing well.

I urge others in this forum to be more inviting and friendly to all the audience from other nationalities. Lets show them courtesy since they are our guests :)

captain is doing the wrong thing that continuing with chacha... he is not a worry at all to the batsmen and they play liberty with him which boosting their confidence. so i think, that kind of confidence is surely allow them them to play freely with other bowlers. so it is time to change chacha now....

It is obvius BD bowlers are no problems for PAK. But frequent bowling change with some variation could have slowed down the runs, every single bowler who came bowlig, gave less runs in the first 1 or 2 overs. So why not try ASh/Rajin/Kapali with repeated rotation which can at least slow down the runs.

All Bashar is doing is playing the same old tape. This game is pretty much out of hand, why not try other options???? Why not be little aggressive??

Despite the obvious frailties like dropping unbelievably easy catches [ and, that too by an otherwise good fielder ], this team is now acquiring a bit of steel. Considering Pakistan were scoring above 4.5 per over almost throughout their innings with having wickets in hand, I believe restricting them to 257 was a very good bowling effort. I have seen Bangladesh bowl better but heads do not drop that easily any more. Even at 200/2 with 300 looking ominously possible they did not shrink like in the past.

I thought Razzak bowled well. In fact, no one bowled that badly. Rafique had two bad overs but then it was Inzamam.

Let's see what Bashar can do. To score anywhere near the required run rate, only he can do it with help from Ashraful [ forget the catch now ! ] and Alok.

July 17, 2004, 02:56 AM
Well, bd surely have done a pretty good job restricting pakistan under 260. Except some usual misfeilding which gave some life to the pak batsmans, overall feilding was good. Razzak and Rafique have done a treamendous spell in the middle restricting the opponents to fly for 300. The feilding again was very live as well the sensible balling which puts queit few extras in the total (only 11).

From the side of pakistan, in my opinion, they made a wrong decision shuffling the order of their batting line up. Still 257 seems farely good enough for them to battle not becuz they got strong bowling lineup but the batting behavior of bd side.

Let's see wht's on next....
