Golf is not in the olympics? And of course, Cricket?:(

If youth have any say, and ultimately they will, the next new Olympic sport will be skateboarding. It was a clear winner in an online poll conducted in the wake of the Salt Lake City Winter Games two years ago. Surfing was second, but it would rule out landlocked cities from hosting Games in the future.

Other games that briefly bore the adjective "Olympic" include tug of war, golf, polo (the real game with horses, not guys splashing in a pool), cricket, croquet, lacrosse, rugby, and the ever-popular jeu de paume - described as 12-century cross between tennis and squash popular with the French aristocracy, which may, or maybe not, account for it being part of the 1908 Games in London.

Any sport, no matter how stupid it may by (i.e. snowboarding, curling) , if it increases the chance for the typical medal-winning western countries to increase their tally, will become an olympic sport, without a doubt.
