Facts:

1) According to the schedule of ICC Test Championship, Bangladesh will be able to play a test series home and away consisting of 2 test matches and 3 ODIs (sometimes not even the ODIs are arranged for Bangladesh on away tour example - Bangladesh's NZ tour where BD played in only 2 test matches) ONLY FOR FIVE (5) years. Whereas, the other nine test nations - will play each other home and away for TEN (10) years.

2) Bangladesh was included in ICC Test Championship formula because of the disadvantages now faced by Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka became world champion in 1996 World Cup and then they were able to put some sort of pressure on ICC to play sides like England on a test series - not only one off test matches. Also, now Sri Lanka has been suffering for not playing on foreign conditions when they go down to sides like England, South Africa, West Indies on test matches. Note it also that Sri Lanka had to participate in one ICC trophy tournament before they were given test status, even though they had players like Roy Dias and Dilip Mendis.

3) Zimbabwe had not actually began to win test matches and one day international matches on a regular basis until they had included players like Neil Johnson and Murray Goodwin - who were brought up in South Africa and Australia. Also, at that time, they started to play One Day matches especially since the year 1997, on a much regular basis just like other test nations at that time.

4) Given the number of international matches - whether test or one day, two to three years of time is not really good enough to really let a side establish properly - surely, everybody knows that. And records are going worse than when Bangladesh started to play is simply because Bangladesh is facing the stronger opposition now a days than in the first year, when Bangladesh played only against Zimbabwe 2 test series at home and away. And only last month, during November when Bangladesh played against one of the top two test teams in the world - South Africa in South Africa.

5) If you are enthusiastic on Bangladesh cricket enough to do a research, then you would find out that the Bangladeshi players like Aminul Islam, Akram Khan who are around the same age as Aravinda De Silva, Javagal Shrinath and thus have more experience than other Bangladeshi players, actually played in the first year of Bangladesh's first year in test cricket. And since these too experienced players who have nothing to learn really at this stage, are going down with the passage of time. So, new players who are coming into the scene, they are far more inexperienced not to keep our patience.
