The up and coming series against Zimbabwe is surely the most important Bangladesh will have to play in their cricekting history. With all the hurrah surronding test status and all that it must be a winning formula for Bangladesh.

If we can pull it off at least they will have to get rid of Zimbabwe's test status first.

All the efforts must go towards this series, but not taking anything away from the New Zealand series. Surely it is time for Bangladesh to deliver the goods.

A win against Zimbabwe must be the first step and i mean the series not just one match. Barring injuries to key players bangladesh should come out on top but it will be a close series.

We live in hope....

As far I remeber last time we played test matches, it was against west indies and were were able to draw a test match for the first time (without the mercy of rain). Since then we have played ODIs and had a disastrous run so far.

Now people are talking about limiting us play test matches only at home or worse , stripping us off the test status.

So basically you play bad one-day and as a punishment , you play less test matches. That is ridiculous! Cricket 101, test matches and one-dayers, totally different ball game! People are not saying we should play less one -day cricket, rather less TEST.

If we look at our test performance so far, it has been upward since whatmore took over and no recent evidence that we are going down.

So why they sould make changes to our test schedule now or talk about test status?

Yeah agreed. Tests are the only thing in cricket and if we are improving there who cares about the ODIs. ODIs are just a show tests are the real thing.
