my sources are cricinfo, banglacricket, cricketnext.
by looking at this chart we played 15 odi this yr. our highest run is 238 against zimbabwe. lowest is 86 against nz. our bowling is good. but batsmans are not consistant. too many top order batsman gets our between 0-10 runs. hardly any 50s. i cant believe that in last 15 odi matches 68 is the highest individual score. which was done by javed omar against hong kong.
so in my opinion the problems with our battings are:
1)not enough high individual scores
2) top orders losing wickets quickly.
3)no geniun openers. we almost always lost first wicket in less then 10 runs. yes less then 10. and we always change our openers.
4)middle order batsman fails if the middle orders does well then lower order fails but its almost always that middle orders fails.
5)habibur bashar does not perform like our best batsman in odi. he performs just like any other batsman.
6)whenever khaled mashud does well we score over 150 runs. if pilot does bad then our batsman fails to reach over 150.
7)besides ashraful and rafique we dont have anyone who can hit 6s.
8) no one beside pilot and sometimes rajin can stay on the wicket for too long.
but i believe the main problem is our batting is that no one in the team can score high runs. like 70-80s. and we are very bad at playing with new balls. something we need to improve. if our batting stays like this then we will never win matches. because you cant win matches against a test team scoreing 150 runs many times maybe almost never.

sorry i think i missed that. hannan may have the best average but he didnt play many matches. what i am trying to show here is our batsman are not capable of playing long innins. dont understand why this is happening because now we are playing test cricket. out of 5 top order batsman atleast one have to score half century in each game. or else the score cant be high. we cant win matches scoreing 150 runs.

in test shumon is our best batsman. but looking at the consistancy of khaled mashud it looks like in odi pilot is our best batsman.
