nazmul will be badly missed. dont think mushfiq is half as effective as nazmul. his batting has time and again disappointed. but hopefully he will provide some solidity to our lower order if we lose some early wickets again. but i think i would rather take mushfiq than rana in this match...particularly considering rana's recent ordinary bowling performances. mushfiq would probably be a better choice than rana for this game. lets wait and see...

Rana wud have been a much better option I agree but only mushfiq wont change anything in the match. If everyone performs, mushfiq will automatically perform OR his shortcomings will get shadowed... so lets just hope and pray.

what was the injury - remember there is also a Test series against Zimbabwe starting next week! It's good that Bangladesh have 3 pacers who can be threatening - Mashrafee, Tapash and Nazmul - woth others like Sharif, Shahadat waiting in the wings.

I agree with the calls for Rana. We need to strengthen our batting. Rajin cannot be dropped after his performance on the field. With Aftab and Mahmud being able to combine as 3rd and 4th pace options, there is no need for Mushfiq. Rana doesn't even have to bowl much.

probably he is being tested several times to judge if he can be kept in the team vs. ZIM's or not..
