Virender Sehwag, the Man of the Match in the deciding game of the series, admitted that the Indian team were very upset with their shock loss in the second game, and wanted to make certain there was no repeat of the fiasco. "Of course we were very upset because we lost against Bangladesh," said Sehwag. "We don't deserve to lose against Bangladesh. We came here with a very positive mindset and were ready to give them a good total if we batted first. We decided we won't give them any chance to come back in this game."

He said that by comparing both team's strength on paper.

But in ODI, who has a better day in field wins the game.

Well Sehwag and whole Indian team was lucky that Tapash and Nazmul didn't play on the 3rd ODI. If they had played things could have been different.

Only if Ash did not get run out, i think the Indians would have been in for a heart attack.

Arrogance can lead to disaster and this is what some of the Indian players need to understand. Though Bangladesh is a new test playing country, it has some capable players in its inventory. Undermining their capabilities could translate into a defeat, which the Indian side has already experienced.

That's not true, maybe we could've scored 270.

India and Ganguly has probably been given the BEST POSSIBLE TREATMENT (thru cricket only) wich they will remember for long.. and from now on, whenever they go for bashing BD cricket standard (if they do!).. something somewhere from behind the back of their mind will pain them like hell... :)

:flag:Cheers to the TIGERS!!

Cricinfo quotes like this... what kind of attitude is this

With the exception of Mashrafe Mortaza – who toiled manfully again with wretched back-up – Mohammad Ashraful and Habibul Bashar, when not in Happy Hooker mode, no-one in this Bangladesh team would be invited to carry drinks for a Pura Cup side, or even a top-notch Ranji Trophy outfit.
================================================== =

Now what this Moron is going to say... INDIA get reasy we BD will kick you left and right in coming years.

indians just can't accpet the fact that they lost to BD. its a humiliation for them. i went to a chat room and saw pakistanis talking crap about india. one indian said, "now the whole world will laugh at us". this is how indians are feeling now and their media are talking trash about bangladesh mainly out of humiliation and anger.

cant believe the guy forgot md rafiq (whom i believe can play for any team apart from australia), rajin (one of the best fielders in asia), tapash (faster/better than most indian seamers, the guy is freakin accurate), pilot (no comments necessary)...etc etc

if nazmul and tapash were not injured, it could have been different story. sehwag could have been out for a duck one more time

I think that quote is wrong.

Pilot or Rafique would certainly play for Tasmania.

Heck, Pilot would probably play for anyone except the Vics (Berry is arguably a better keeper than Gillespie, but Gillespie is quite possibly the best wk/bat there ever was).

Shahadat would probably get a run, to see what he could do.

Isn't Tasmania like 2nd in the points table right now? But yeah they wud probably get in to a team here.
