wow that's a pretty jam packed stadium for a test match!

good to see that the two most junior members of the team got the cars. shows how much it paid off to keep nafis out of the national team for so long to ensure that he's fit enough to face the music. IMO nafis will have brighter career stats than bashar or ashraful in the end.

Are they getting two cars or they are sharing one? In the second pic I see 2 cars, I am a lil bit confused here.

They are getting two cars, one for Enamul for taking 8+ wickets in a match, the other for Nafees for his century.

Both will be shared by the whole team as quoted by Enam!!

Socialism back to Bangladesh Cricket .!!!!

How about sharing Enamulís wickets and Nafisís century? Rafique didnít get any wicket and the rest of the batsmen get very few runs. Just divide them by 11 and equally share them between the players.

What else do the players need to share?
Will it be restricted to field or beyond thatÖ.

Not like that Fazal.
They are going to sell the car and the winner will take the 40% of the sell money and the rest will get the equal share(even the 12th man), this is how Enam told on the other day. He also added that he does not need the the car and he is pretty young to drive one, moreover everybody has his role in achieveing the feat. M. Rafiq has not taken much wickets of course, but he bowled too tight from end and the opponent batsmen wanted to hit Enam more freely which resulted in outs.

Exactly!!

Enam has shown maturity in this context again. BTW Nafis is getting married on Feb 3. Hope he will be able to concentrate on cricket after that ;)

Actually they should not sell the car. Just break the cars into pieces: The steering wheel, tires, front seat, back seat, rear mirror, wind shield, wiper, muffler, the radio, cd player, the radiator, etc. In that way not only the 12 players will get a piece of it, the x-players, the players not selected (ChaCha, Alok, Hannan, Mushfique, etc) the coaches, the ball boy, the grounds man, Mr. Lobi, the CEO of BCB, and off-course BanglaCricket will get a piece of the car.

After all every one has a contribution, direct, indirect, semi-direct, vague-direct how you see it. Right?

HAHA!! FUNNY!

Now the question is who gets the steering wheel?
I think, Ash should get the Radiator, we will supply the coolant

BTW, whoever gets the cd player and the radio will still be able work with them...no?

yes. enam should get the cd player.

how about the seat covers? should those things be torn apart into pieces too?

I agree with you, I think Nafis Iqbal is more matured and have more patience. But I have to say Ashaful is I think the most talented....but he has mental problem...he seriously lacks consistency.....I wouldnít compare the new generation with Bashar...it won't be fair to him, because he didn't grow up playing cricket of this class...he also didn't get the coaching and facility the new generation is getting...Bashar is RAW talent...But I absolutely had to compare, I will rank him above the new generation...

nafis, although a big mouth at times, backs it up with performance. besides, his century shows that he can actually play according to the demands of the situation. he can really become an ideal test opener by weaving patience and stroke play together.

this is a quality that ash and bashar and aftab lack.

good observation. but i think the present generaton is just more talented than say the generation 5 years ago and thats not just because of batting.

cricket became popular in Bd not a long ago, which was basically a soccer playing country. Only after ICC tourney win cricket has conquered soccer(actually killed it). So the new generation grew up playing cricket. and for obvious reasons we will find better talents than what we found 5 or 10 years ago.

Of the current 6 test batsmen, only javed and basar are old timers, and we already have better openers in the wing than javed. only bashar can keep his place on merit which is a good sign...... from previous generation I could only take bulbul or nannu in their prime to get in this batting side.

lately nafis has been showing some patience and maturity. He should not let this confidence slip away. Hopefully, as he matures, he will be able to compose himself better in the future. Ash is talented, but he needs to do some serious soul searching. I think, Rajin did just that and now he is back stronger than before. Javed Omar has also come back better than before. Bashar has come back ok but on 2nd test 2nd innings, he played a bad shot and departed cheaply. Hopefully, he will be better next time

i doubt that. nannu? the guy with an avg of 14 before WC 99? No.

Bulbul? yes, for sure

Good one reverseS

In the spirit of legendary Bhanu Banarjee:

What kinda gas do the cars take?
If its just regular gas, I got no problem,
If its Premimum, I got couple more questions...(taile duikhan Khotha ache)..

I hope at the end they don't end up saying:

" Taile halar Car-i nibona" (If thats the case, I don't even want it).
:P

Agreed.
Anyone offering more prizes. I heard Rahimafrooze may do it. Not sure of the specifics
