Can Enamul improve his batting ability .......

Time will tell. On the other hand, if he is going to be such a potent bowler, I wouldn't mind if he took batting tips from Chandrashekhar.

he scored some runs against England in 03, so his batting may be pretty decent.

By the way.. the concept of 'Genuin bolwer' still exists on earth!
Bowlers who can hawl wickets like him in matches.. better do all the work on their genius!

I won't complain even if he scores 10 ducks in a row!

I dont think he has the natuaral batting ability. Nor is he a strong lad with big shoulders and muscular arms, so him being a slogger is also out of the question. But Owen Mattau has done a great job with the lower order batsmen. The best we can hope from Enamul is that he works hard on his defence so that he can become a batsman like Jayson Gillespie who can stay in the stumps for a long time.

If he keeps on getting 5 fors and 10 wicket matches theres no need to even hold a bat for him.

you see now after the 2nd ODI why I am asking this question ?

within the next few years our bowlers - like murali of SL- will not be able to act as a match winning performer, whether it is enamul, rafique or any one else and the fact is also that we need strong batting support from our lower order as our top order battsmen are not in a position to lead us to victory.

moreover any team in the world playing international cricket always try to apply a good gameplan to handle such bowler like enamul. so, in our present condition unless enamul or an other BD bowler will be able to show regular match winning bowling performence like murali, they - in this case I mean enamul - have to still get runs with the bat as rafique does.

We didn't lose the 2nd ODI because Enamul can't bat well. I highly doubt that we could win the match if Rafique played instead of him.

After Sumon and Nafees departed, Ash and others completely failed to meet the demand of situation. That's the reason for our defeat.

If he can bat well that is an extra bonus from him. I would like to see him concentrating on his bowling and playing a key role in match winning. If we have always to depend on the tailenders, then why we keep the top orders? What is the role of the top orders (and the middle orders) in that case?
It is never late for a lad like Enam Jr. to practice for batting, but we should remember, he is our specialized/genuine bowler, not an all rounder.
