If we bat first
Chacha is going to score 5 and just when we will exhaust ourselves bitching at him he will completely redeem himself with 3 wickets for 28 runs.

If we bowl first
Chaccha will give 47 runs in 7 overs with 0 wickets. And just when we will exhaust ourselves bitching at him he will completely redeem himself with a 39 off 27 balls. And a 6 over the midwicket.

yes, pretty much what i was thinking of when i read the title - except that i was gonna say 4/27 instead of 3/28

CHACHA'S best figure was against the Zimbabweans. Maybe he will manage the reverse swing again that troubled them in the wining match in Harare.

mahmud is effective in one dayers. he is slow bowler and has a swing quiet a bit. lately he has shown, he can be aggressive with batting. give him chance.

Military pacer Chacha will bowl 3.5 overs before limping off because of hamstring problem. And he will not bat tomorrow as BD will reach home without losing many wks.

I am a former chacha basher when it comes to Test matches, GLAD that he is not in the test squad. I still say it proudly. :)

As for ODIs, Chacha will do good things against Zimbabwe. He'll average in the 20's as always and may even go the distance (in his case a 50+). He will also be one of our top wicket takers, no doubt about that. I don't think he'll give us any reason to complain about him in this odi seires against Zimbabwe. GO chacha.

Currently BD is all-focussed on Spin-Maze :)
as ZIM's have shown they r poor against spins..

so wickets will favoer the spinners probably more than pacers..

Still hoping chacha to do well.. as long as he is in there..

May be you are right!

But I tought they (i.e. the ChaCha bashars) have the memory life-span of 'Dori'. So ChaCha needs to prove again and again that he can play & positively contribute to the team.

In the mean time some other talented and 'untouchable' players need to contibute once in a while only whenever they feel like they are bored and need do something.....

See, no surprise from Chacha in the first match but I strongly feel that he will do better.

Here's Chacha's bowling against the Zim bats:

Khaled Mahmud 0s 1s 2s 3s 4s 6s Runs Balls RP6B
v S Matsikenyeri 7 2 0 0 0 0 2 9 1.33
v H Masakadza 11 2 0 1 0 0 5 14 2.14
v BRM Taylor 9 3 0 0 2 0 11 14 4.71
v T Taibu 4 1 0 0 0 0 1 5 1.20
v E Chigumbura 0 2 0 0 1 0 6 3 12.00
v T Panyangara 1 6 0 0 0 1 12 8 9.00
v P Utseya 0 2 1 0 0 0 4 3 8.00
v DT Hondo 1 1 3 0 0 0 7 5 8.40
Total 33 19 4 1 3 1 48 61 4.72

His battings against the Zim bowlers:

Khaled Mahmud 0s 1s 2s 3s 4s 6s Runs Balls RP6B
v DT Hondo 1 4 0 0 0 0 4 5 4.80
v E Chigumbura 3 3 3 0 2 0 17 11 9.27
v P Utseya 3 3 1 0 1 0 9 8 6.75
v BG Rogers 2 4 0 0 0 0 4 6 4.00
Total 9 14 4 0 3 0 34 30 6.80

He took a liking to Chigumbura. May he play Chigumbura for 10 overs and score 90 runs. :)
