The only day that I support them, Australia are in deep trouble, even late in the innings.

They are 170/6 in the 36th over. What am I saying, they're not in trouble, they've got batting right down to number 11.

Come on Aussies!

If Pakistan win this match, the West Indies don't really have a chance of getting in the final.

Actually, Pakistan will need the bonus point, otherwise they must beat West Indies, regardless if they lose to Australia or not.

Aus... 194/7

Clarke's 75* (75 balls) helped Australia to reach 265

Well done Pakistan Razzaq and Afridi saved them at the end.

Won pretty easily in the end by Pakistan, I am pleasantly suprised. They will still have to beat Windies to reach finals though.

So i guess they didn't get the bonus point. Who cares- a win is a win. Well played- but it was a tough match- but as usual "Ice-Man" Razzaq was there! I think the captain, coach have correctly used Afridi in Australia this time. Its wrong to give him the opening slot in seaming, fast, swinging pitches. Besides, i don't think any of your guys noticed- but he's been economical in his bowling as well.
Pakistan should let Younis Khan keep wickets becoz i have a feeling he'll be an asset against Windies!
One cannot stop MJ Clark(ey)- he's just too good. My favorite batsman after Ricky Ponting- this dude is going to beat all records and do it in a very mild, subtle fashion! I wish him all the best! Watch out Tendulkar- your glory days are over!

Great chase by the Pakistan team. Chasing 265 against Aus is a difficult one but Pakistan has some great batsmen and played magnificent cricket.

Abdul Razzaq is the best batsmen for the last 10 overs... he has done this so many times.

Afridi has asserted his spot on the team for good now... they finally realised he is not an opener... he should come at the last 10 overs.... like number 8... don't expect centuries but expect blistering innings that will boost the RR tremendously... he singlehandedly changed the RRR from 7 to less then 6... then Razzaq took care of it from there.

As for Younis Khan, sorry his father died. He has flewn back to Pakistan. :(

Clarke ain't "too" good, it was just crappy fielding and he was dropped... he was also dropped twice on his 97 in the first match.

It was tremendous batting by the Pakistan lower order. When Pakistan lost their sixth wicket with nearly 100 runs still required, I had a premonition that Pakistan could win it- and I was proved right. Pakistan had awesome talents of Razzak, Afridi and Rana Naveed still there and they made it really look simple in the end.

For the first time against Australia, the bluff of Symonds being a specialist bowler was called by an opponent team.
