Cool game from "hot headed (no pun intended)" Rafiq. An absolute delight to watch him yesterday.
A repeat performance of what he did in 1998 against India:
- Played as the opening batsman
- 77 runs in 87 balls
- 3 wky\ts taken in 10 overs with 56 runs given
- BD won the game

Well, Actualy the difference is Jatasuria did it over and over again year

after year with bat regularly and with ball occasionally while Rafiq did it

over and over again year after year with ball regularly and with bat

occasioanally. So where is the difference.

Rafiq played well in these two games, against Kenya(1998) and Zim(2005)
These are the only sucessful chase in ODIs for BD. All other wins came batting first.

Bangladesh star Mohammad Rafique finds himself engulfed by excited children at the Aganagar Government Primary School in Keraniganj yesterday. Rafique, a hugely popular figure, paid a visit to his old school, which is just beside his house upon returning home after completing a successful series against Zimbabwe where he was one of the standout performers.
