Come on, I've been searching a lot of places, but could not find a single source after what happened after those 6 overs 11/1 UAE. And so far, I couldn't find a single source.

Its great.
Here's one media coverage of the 1st OD by on of the leading newspaper of UAE:
Sharif's deadly spell helps Bangladesh down UAE

By K.R. Nayar, Staff Reporter

Sharjah : Mohammad Sharif, a 19-year-old medium pacer, bowled Bangladesh A to an emphatic victory over UAE.
Sharif produced a deadly spell of 6 for 24 in the first One-dayer at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium to bowl out UAE for 132 in 40 overs.

Bangladesh went on to record an eight-wicket win through knocks from Nafees Ahmad (55) and Tushar Imran (52n.o).

UAE opener Rashid Khan's defiant knock of 42 went in vain.

It was a splendid start for Bangladesh in this four-match series.

UAE won the toss and elected to bat. Sharif struck right away. At UAE's score on 5, he dismissed opener Mohammad Taskeen for 3.

One-down Fahad Usman lasted only 19 balls before becoming Sharif's second victim for 13.

Khan, stroking well, took UAE's score to 39 but first change bowler Kazi Rajib clean bowled Sameer Zia for 4.

Javed Esmail tried his best to lift UAE out of trouble. He stayed at the wicket for 43 balls to hit a patient 19 but Mahmoud Riyad had him caught by Rahman.

Sharif stuck repeatedly to pick the next four wickets. He trapped Usman Saleem (11) leg before and clean bowled Zahid Shah (13).

Khan, who hit a patient 42, finally fell to left-arm bowler Shakib Al Hassan. He hit three boundaries and two sixes during his 76-ball stay at the wicket.

Chasing 133 to win, Bangladesh began slowly. Ali Asad bowled tightly to pick two maiden overs. Meanwhile, Javed Esmail had opener Shamsu Rahman caught behind by Taskeen for 1.

Test player Tushar Imran joined left-handed Nafees Ahmad and the pair quickly settled down.

Scoring at nearly three runs an over, this pair guided the team to victory.

At the score on 88, Nafees got run out for 55. He hit six boundaries during his 91-ball innings.

At this stage Bangladesh needed only 43 runs to win. Raqaib Al Hassan joined Imran and guided their team comfortably to the target.

Imran remained unbeaten on 52. He played 90 balls and hit just three boundaries.

Hassan remained unconquered on 17, which included a six and a boundary.

Bangladesh reached the target in 37.2 overs. Sharif, who produced a spell of of 8-2-24-6, won the man of the match award.

have anyone see that in the BD bowling figure there r two bowlers Aosaf Ali & Usman Saleem..?

who r they....???

It looks like Usman saleem batted for UAE but who is Aosaf Ali..

rafiq
February 4, 2005, 10:06 AM
LOL Usman Saleem switched sides in the middle of the game?

Scot fan Trueblue made a comment on the board yesterday about this not being a full strength UAE side. Is there any validity to this statement, and actually why should we care if it is or not? It's a wasted opportunity for UAE if they aren't playing all their top players. Maybe they have something better to do...
