Players to keep an eye on:

Dhaka: Talha Jubair, Al-Shariar, Arafat Sunny.
(about Halim Shah, I wonder why he didn't ever get a call to national squad for even a priliminary selection. He scored some good runs in domestic and national league before).

Chittagong: Waseluddin Ahmed, Foysal Hossain, Ehsanul Haque, Dhiman Ghosh.

Rajshahi: Shamsur Rahman, Shafaq Al Jabir, Alamgir Kabir.

Khulna: Tushar Imran, Salauddin, Md Salim, SK Russel, Pavel.

Sylhet: Alok Kapali, Moniruzzaman, Fahim Muntasir, Asim Chowdhury.

Barisal: Hannan Sarker, Raqibul Hasan, Md Sharif, Shahdat Hossain, Mushfiqur Rahim, Israq Sonnet.

Last year Halim Shah went to Pakistan with BD A team.

wow! I am surprised to see the relative "even" spread of "star" power in all the squads...we are getting quality cricketers from all over the country. A very positive sign :)

this even spread was done by our selectors. I am not a big fan of this.

Some questions:
1) Who are good offies and leggies in this group?
2) Any southpaws batsmen in there (not interested in SLAs - we got plenty of them) :)
3) Whatever happened to Bikash Ranjan Das? Vanished after that debut test
4) Are Dhiman and Anwar the only w/k to keep an eye on?

I saw him play in the Dhanmondi Ground many times. He is more defensive player like Golla . I think the selectors should have tried him for 1 or 2 matches. He has been in the domestic league for many seasons and he performed reasonably well.
