even though they are england beating the best team in the world is something better.

even though the resuts are for the test win, a win would definently stop the media harrasment

Why not both....they arent mutually exclusive are they?

But I agree with cricket_pagla, at this stage, a test win would prolly be worth more.

Both would be amazing but at the moment defeating England in their home ground will be sweet!

Test win, more likely and more historical

Both are impossible, but I would pick Test win over ODI win

A test win is a Test win. Can't beat that.

i prefer ODI win....whatever you say, a win against Australia (may that be in test or ODI) will give a massive boost the morale of the team

a win against england is like a win against india or of lesser signifcance

but still....i would prefer any win to be honest...may that be against australia, england or hong kong, doesnt matter..

This is almost silly! Can't compare a Test win to an ODI win. Other than winning a test against Zimbabwe (because we already have) I'd take a test win against any other side than an ODI win, even if its against the Aussies. The Aussies are great no doubt, but they can have a bad day and if we play like tigers, maybe we can pull something miraculous off (highly unlikely). But to outplay a much stronger side over 5 days take a hell of a lot more and also means a hell of a lot more!

It would have to be a pretty bad day for the Aussies, the Western Australian Second XI beat Pakistan in a tour match if that's anything to go by. :D

Mind you if Bangladesh beat the Aussies I would still be happy, it would be a huge step forward for Bangladeshi cricket.

no comparision i would pick win in test against england any day over odi win against australia. win against england would mean to secure our test status. let me remind you our test status is on question not odi status. so we need to perform in test as well as in odi to shut the mouth of these so called cricket experts.

I agree with Shaun. Our ODI status got a boost after beating india in the second. However, the closeness of the 2nd test aginst Zimbabwe has put us back at par with them. It is here we need to prove ourselves. However, it is easier said then done. A team can win an ODI on the back of a batting colapse by the opposition. This is far less likely in a test match. A good experienced team like England will find somebdy to stady the ship if there were an early batting colapse in a test match. Often there may not be enough balls left in an ODI to do the same under similar situations. Thus, I fancy our chances in an ODI.
