ICC boss has said no, but his term ends in June...

do you guys think that n-tier will become a reality regardless of how BD does in england or ZIM does in SA?

If BD does well in U.K., and pull of a test win, it will be dropped.

"World cricket chief Ehsan Mani has opposed two-tier Test cricket because weaker countries should not be ‘marginalised’ or ‘put on one side’ on the basis of their performances alone." - NewAge

"He disagreed with a suggestion that Zimbabwe and Bangladesh needed to be stripped off their Test-playing status, as they had not been playing well at the top level in recent years.
While Bangladeshis have made ‘big strides’, Zimbabwe has had to deal with political issues. ‘You have to give them opportunities.’"

Is this term ending in June pretty much set or is there any any chance he might get an extension?

I'm sorry to say... it's not that simple!
BD needs atleast 5 more years to come up to a level where we can shut up these craps! And pulling a test win in ENG next is also a dream! Maybe we will get ODI win but that wont shut off anyone.

So lets all be realistic and patient pls.

Sounds encouraging both for BD and ZIM to me.
But surely we need something promising from that Eng tour, it doesn't matter then, who talk about n-tire system.

Well the n-tier really is baseless..They are thinking in terms of reducing the matches to be played by BD & ZIM....Say now we play 4 to 5 series a year..that might come down to 2-3 series..thats it.....read my words...Nobody is thinking bout degrading BD & ZIM..It just can't happen and it won't happen...INSHALLAH !
