Our batting is not good. So I think BCB must start Batsman Hunt like Pacer Hunt from now. What do you think??? If you agreed with me, vote for Yes, if not vote for No.

Yes it would be a great idea. But how do you find a good batsman because the national team batsman are all good. How do you find someone better.

Batsman hunt isn't possible like the way they did pacer hunt. They can ofcourse hunt for talent during differnt youth cricket competition (school cricket, local cricket etc) all over the country. But that takes time. You can't find overnight batting sensation.

I know it that it's not possible like pacer hunt. It will take a long time. So BCB must start the process from school cricket. Then they will able to found out batsman like Sachin, Lara, Inzi .... ....

I think we should work with the young guys we already have. Shahin, Roquibul, Nafees Ahmed, etc. The thing with bd cricket is that we're always looking to these young 16 or 17 yearolds to quickly come through the ranks and compete internationally. Its really bad because other countries dont do this....they just wait for someone to perform well consistently.....no anxious following of young players.

]i gotta agree with u but if our batsman start performances in shape i dont thin we need batsmen. i bowling attack is good but we need some real fast bowler

In searching for batsmen what is a good idea is a consistent evaluation of talents from all over the country. Pacer hunt is a little different, where you're looking for a few specific physical aspects, not the case with batrsmen.

batsman hunt is possible.

make a 15m pitch, let them play 5 overs each, doesnt matter if he gets caught out , (but bowled or lbw is counted) player with the most runs should be chosen. what do u think of this idea?:)

Batsman hunt?

They should ban on hunting batsman and declare them as endangered species.

hunt for anything will never end or should never end, i might say. from that point of view, the poll is meaningless.

there is no reason to stop hunt for anything if we want to succeed.

a big deal of Batting is about long-term patience and building big long innings.

Batsman-hunt, if done like pacer hunt, will probably only find batsmen who can play very good for 4-5 overs... but that wont giv a clue to their ability to score big.

Bye the way... all the types of Domestic/Practice/A-team/age group crickets everyone plays... Arn't those the real 'Batsmen-hunt'... for finding the best Batsmen also??
I think yes!

Yes.
BCB is already running on a Batsmen-Hunt. = the National League.
Shahin Hossian is already hunted. A 20/21 years old wicket-keeper-cum-batsman playing for Barisal Div.:up:

A batter hunt would be nice, but we should spend that money on our national team batsman to improve their technique and skill. BAshar our best batsman has a problem with hook shot i think....). If we could fix that then he might be better. Maybe average 40 in tests.

No way.
A regular league must be held every year.
A league can produce some good batsmen plus bowlers. Bashar cnt be good without practicing some good amount of cricket. And NL is the field to work. BCB can improve the quality of NL.
