SAF 158/0 in just 28 overs. RR of 5.68 There is still 28 overs to go.

Smith can try a 'Hookes' on Zimbabwe :)

SA have just lost the wicket of unlucky Villiers (234/2) and the smart cricinfo commentator goes like this:

37.5 Cremer to de Villiers, OUT: uses his feet, thick outside edge goes to short 3rd man, South Africa in trouble now, Zimbabwe sure to rip thru the rest of the tail now

I can't believe these guys could be so mean! What use of being sarcastic to demean a side who are already deep down in abbys? Disgusting!

I would say... it was ZIM's bad day..
They are not that bad after all.

And when a bad day starts... it comes bad in every way.. like that 200+ for 0 wickets by SA. Even Streak failed to get any wicket!

Kallis running wild with hit spree. Fastest half ton on the card?

Zimbabwe's humiliation could not have come at a worse time. Now the ICC is likely to renew calls for a 2 tier. Houghton has already spoken to that effect.

45.6 Cremer to Kallis, SIX, sweeps over the deep bwd square ropes to
bring up his 50 in 36 mins off 24 balls including 3 fours and 5
sixes and now holds the record for the fastest Test 50 beating IT
Botham's 26 ball 50 vs India at Dehli

God Bless Zimbabwe!!
After 54 All Out...What else one could Say?

It's bad news!!
Any bad performance by the minows will revive the
2-tier issue on the table.

This is not just bad performance, it's way worse than BD's peformance in Multan test of Asian Test Championship, which is considered the worst test for us.

I still see no need for 2 tier system. If ICC feels the need to reduce one sided matches, then they should simply kick Zimbo out of test arena for a long period of time. We deserve better than living in the 2nd tier with the worst test team ever.

This is the "Slaughter Of The Lambs".

Unfortunate and depressing.

A horrible game. Cricinfo or was it BBc cricekt said it perfectly. This was a test match in name only. Even bangladesh doenst play that bad even in their worst form.

On other forums i saw many Zim fans talk about how Zim is now better than BD again. I think this test proves it. All out for 54. Allowing the fastest ever half century and giving up the biggest lead after a day when batting first.

It is a humiliation to test cricket itself.....

Congrats to Kallis though. Even thought it was agaisnt bad opposition its still toguh to get fast half centurys.

Zimbabwe 54 & 114/2 (33.5 ov)
South Africa 340/3d

Nice to see zimbos are doing well in 2nd innings .....

I still think that 54 by them was a bad-day-game by them. The young ZIMs showed big resistance in the BD sereis... and now they got some Rebels back and they will be encouraged to do better.

A test is over within two days. with 156.4 overs. 293.2 overs is still unused.
Zim is all out for 265.
And SA won by an innings and 21 runs.
More interestingly they won by playing only 50 overs ( = ODI overs).
What a dismal performance by ZIMBOs.:embaressed:

A very sad test match. Zim did well iin second innings but they failed. Another record was broken by SA. Tehy had the highest run reat efor their first innings. An amazing 6.8 runs an over.
