Who has been the best performer (out of the nominees) in the last few months. From the series against New Zealand, India and Zimbabwe?

I wanted to vote for Rafiq, but you did not put his name. How come you missed the best in poll for the best!!!

Rafique, Enamul, Razzaq, Rana and Faisal won the award last year. You can't win it twice

rofique was the best one but i dont know why he is not in the list. i guess habibul fan wanted to know who beside rofique was the best performer. i think it was ashraful even with his inconsistancy. also aftab has been good as well as pilot.

faisal won it?? hmmm... in that case I guess the board IS better than it used to be last year...we're improving! :)

Faisal won it for domestic player of the year. The domestic votes have been postponed until the series finishes. You might be upset with me now for not having Rafique in but you'll understand when you're older (never thought I'd say that here)

all payers were magnificent last year, but mashrafe is head and shoulders above the rest, the guy is simply like one of us BD fans !!!

He is so enthusiastic and a great role model for young bD kids to emulate.
:great:

Okay guys, Habibul_fan already explained once why there is no Rafique on the list. I will explain it again. If after that there are more posts saying, 'where is Rafique?' I am also going to put a gun to temple and Habibul_fan will surely fire his!

So here goes:

This poll has been put on to figure out the two best players from the national team this season (2004-2005). Five players get recognized each year, based on the Wisden Cricketers of the Year awards which recognizes English players. Out of the five players recognized, two will be from the national team, two from the domestic league and one from the A/u19 tour. Now here comes the important part: A PLAYER CANNOT WIN TWO YEARS IN A ROW!! Therefore, AS RAFIQUE WAS ONE OF THE PLAYERS WHO WON LAST YEAR, HE IS NOT ON THE POLL THIS YEAR!!

Can't make it any clearer than that, but somehow I have a feeling that we havent seen the end of the "where is rafiq?" posts.

Without Rafique it has to be Habibul Bashar although Mashrafe did put up fine performances. :bravo:
