Can we do this? Maybe we can load it up with info on the birth of cricket in Bangladesh, how the first board was formed, and how we made our way to where we are today. Members can contribute with articles and related info (to take pressure off the staff); and of course, the pages will have to be updated regularly as time passes. This will give the site a little bit of what more it needs to surpass itself as the best website on Bangladesh cricket. :)

We do have this in mind. We have so many initiatives to improve this site and a history/archive section is one of the things we are salivating about. Can't predict timelines but this will happen one day and not too far away.

However, it will help us all if members can share stories or documents or point to where we can get the historical data or points to links that refer to our cricket past.

Asif, why don't you write a short timeline yourself the way you want to see it, then I will upload it.

Cricket came in the Indo-Pak subcontinent through the English. The English ruled us for 200 years. So, Cricket had a lot of time to spread in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan (3 Of the countries were not divided then).

Whatever that is on your mind that you want to see in the history section. Content, layout, etc. Ask other like-minded forum members for cooperation if you want.
