To answer your question. Yes we do. But, since we found this 'Intl Cricket Section', we thought why not share with the Bengali brothers.. :)

Btw, interestingly Pakistan cut out all the pace by having two medium bowlers. Looks like they have discovered India's secret of scoring high and fast.

Bowling changed for Afridi. Kumble bought into the attack to bowl the 4th over.

Afridi smashed kumble for three sixes, a four, and there was a wide ball involved as well.

So end result, 23 runs off the 4th over..

Afridi has gone crazy...!

Pakistan 55 - 0 (5 ov)

Afridi is destroying India:

Batsmen: R B 4s 6s S/R
Shahid Afridi (RHB) 98 44 9 9 222.73

Look... 9x4 9x6 out of 44 balls!
I don't know if that is best performance ever in an ODI !!!

Well... everybody said that problem of India was Ganguly...

Afridi hit a four and a made 102 runs. The second fastest century in the world off 45 balls. The first one being him as well.

But, he got bowled on the very next ball by Harbhajan. Atleast something to cheer for the Indians.

It was a tremendous and unbelievable knock by Afridi.

Afridi just destroyed India! 102 from 45 balls!!! and just got out.

14.2 Harbhajan Singh to Shahid Afridi, OUT: bowled'm! defended on the

sad end to a fantastic innings

Hopeless Indians! Why have I been supporting them for so long? They aint got the power, the killer instinct, the toughness to snatch a victory from the jaws of their opponents anymore. 5th ODI is a poor display of a bunch of chicken hearts against the lion-hearted Pakistanis.

The Indian cricketers were reported to have encountered a "mass nightmare", if you will, the night before the 5th ODI between India and Pakistan held in the Green Park ground in Kanpur yesterday, which the former lost. Some of the players claim that they were warned about the loss the night before, although most refused to give it a second thought while preparing themselves for the match the next morning.

Sources today have said that some of the men in the squad had experienced what in their words was a hallucination involving a smoky illusion of their captain Saurav Ganguly floating in mid-air above their beds. Those who remember have been reported to have claimed that the ghost looked worn out with weary eyes and was mumbling the words: "India shall fall...the end is nigh...the king will return..." in hindi, and although most of the witnesses were half-dead with fear, they could have sworn that their captain's ghost had murmured something in what some of them believe to be Bangla, Saurav's native language.

So far, Sachin, Rahul and Sehwag have confirmed the rumors to be true. Much as they would like to laugh it away on the dinner table, players like Kaif (who is known to be among the few superstitious in the side) believe that it was a sign. "It actually drove me along while I played my knock of 70 odd today. I was desperate to prove our captain wrong, and make him proud at the same time. I mean, come on yaar, after all we all are playing for India, na?" he said, with a slight tinge of nervousness in his voice as he recalled the ghastly encounter from the previous night.

Although the players in the final eleven that played in the 5th ODI have admitted to have seen Ganguly in their dreams, their Dada (<i>"Bare bhai"</i>) refused to make any comments. However, as he whizzed past the bunch of reporters crowding around him, one could have sworn that there was a wry smile dancing around in those eyes behind the sunglasses.

Although on paper it seems the Afridi won Pakistan the match- i think the whole team played as a unit. There is nothing exceptional about one player in this team but they have proved to be a working unit as a whole.
I'm really proud to see Woolmer is making a difference and also very happy to see such team spirit even without Shoaib Akhtar.

Afridi is simply amazing... people say he is just a mindless brute he just hits the ball with power but it's much more then just strength... you must have excellent hand-eye coordination, strong wrists and pure b*lls.

94 off his 102 runs were off boundaries... now THAT is sick!

InshaAllah Pakistan will win the series 4-2 in front of Musharaf in Dehli. :great:

<b>"Ganguly disaster ruins scientists' sleep"</b>

<b>Staff Correspondent</b>
<b>15 April, 2005</b>

Scientists in various corners of the world have taken interest in the Indian cricketers' claims to have seen their captain Saurav Ganguly's ghost issuing them warnings on the night before the 5th ODI between India and Pakistan at Kanpur today. Some have said that the incident is big enough for them to spend some sleepless nights in the next few weeks.

"This is not an unnatural occurence. It has happened before with many people, and the answers to why it does are yet to discover. I will be looking into this particular case as more than one were involved, which suggests it was no fluke. One of my students is willing to write her thesis on this", said Peter Hudson, a professor whose research is mainly based on the human mind at the Johannesberg Institution of Human and Animal Behaviour (JIHAB). Professor Dar-ul-Hijabi of the Kalaura Medical University of Bangladesh, on the other hand, claims that this is a not so unusual event, and that the cure is usually a good beating (both for the ones who see and the ones seen) with the aid of what he calls an "Aam gaacher chikon beth", but refused to translate upon further enquiry, saying that he did not want to reveal anything without results from further investigation.

However, not everyone is looking at the matter from a scientific point of view. The legendary Aussie leggie Shane Warne shares his views on the matter: "The Indians are chickens. Paak paak paak paak paak...bring them to Australia and they'll say they saw me with my pants down looking at my underwear with a cigarette in my mouth which assured them that they'd lose the game the next day no matter how well they tried. Lame excuses..." He then walked away with a big hole in the rear of his faded jeans showing off quite prominently.

Latest on this issue is that the FBI have requested that India be blacklisted by the US Government. However, they were unable to provide any logic behind the request.

Its just sad to see how the Indian Cricket Board cowardly removed Ganguly. Why couldn't they handle Ganguly's situation the proper way instead with professionalism?
