According to the report McCinnes is leaving in June.. I dont think we knew about this: I personally think he did a tremendous job in creating new players/starts. The criticism he faced from the media when he started out was totally unfair. Offcourse, the media in Bangladesh is always about the negatives than being objective. Nevertheless, Bangladesh will miss a tcoaching talent like him
Here is the

We all knew McInnes was leaving sometime ago. He told this forum himself!! There have been some threads on this already.

I guess thats what happens if you come in after weeks. Nevertheless, I have not heard from BCB regarding his replacement. Come to think of it, is Bangladesh becoming a breeding ground for coaches/trainers? From Woodford, gloster, Mccinnes and Whatmore,,, it seems like after their tenure (unless sacked) in Bangladesh,, other top teams grab them immediately..

He has done a good job for our team. Look at our Under-19 team. Last time i checked we won 5 out of 5 games.

yes, McInnes has done a great job. but its not in terms of win. of course 5 out of 5 win (actually 6 out of 6) is awesome but thats not his main success. he has built a solid base in the u19 players and thats where his main success is. just look at the national team now. how many of them came from under McInnes. we've seen a lot of time again and again that some talented player shows some promise, come to the national team and disappears after a few dismal performance.

nope, the u19 bunch will not do that. McInnes has injected some "attude" in them that they will stick to their job and will try tooth and nail to keep it up. i did not see this attitude before in the senior players and i believe that is his main success.

Richard McInnes did a great job! He produced some of the players that will be playing in our national team for quite long. Wish he could stay for couple more years but no hard feeling!
