not to condone the act of Delhi Police..
but i have few observations by looking at the journalist community's general activities
They will hype things up 10 fold... especially if it involves they are not having free food and drinks and have to be waited for one extra hour for that
Sometimes additional security measures is far better than having a truck bomb exploding killing scores of spectators....when these journalist friends are going to shout at top of their voice
World Cup Season is a prime news making time for myriads of TV channels and print media and every journalists (small or big) will be desperate to make his or her bit of scoop or breaking news.. so please take them with a pinch of salt.......
off all the professions journalism has witnessed the biggest fall of quality in India .. not sure about other countries (BD and Pakistan) but I am pretty sure they will not be far behind...
