Yes! good point Nadim. in a very important encounter, we need fresh, energetic legs. which is why when i made my XI i excluded Sunny and gave Shubho a go because Shubho is originally well suited for the longer format(as his track record confirms/backed up by stats and performance in domestic + A team circuit in past). plus he was never tried for tests...yet!

we really do not need any more specialist spin bowlers assuming Shakib, Riyad and Nasir and Naeem consistently stay in the national team, then i don't really see a need for even one specialist spin bowler, not even in ODIS.... give that slot to a pace bowler. another reason why I advocated for alok,His leg spin would have completed our spin attack. but the off-break and SLA we have now are not too bad either in terms of variation and diverse spin attack.

Rokibul hasn't really done anything special to be recalled..I think selectors should have waited for the whole NCL to be over and then evaluated Rokibul's performance and then made the decision.

people may criticize the selectors move by including 4 new uncapped players, but given the circumstances, when oldies not performing it is the right move and these players have earned it can they live up to the expectation?
