exactly how does this work...how many teams qualify for WC. Looks like only AUS, ENG, NZ, IND women have auto qualification.
They got auto qualification because they finished in the top 4 of the last WC. So these 10 teams in the qualifiers will now fight for the 4 remaining spots in the WC.

In order for Bangladesh to get ODI status, they have to go to the 2nd round which is called the Super Sixes. If they get there, then they get the ODI status even if they don't make the WC. There are 2 groups in this qualification and Bangladesh is grouped with Ireland, Japan, West Indies and Pakistan. So they have to finish at least 3rd in this group to advance. Since they already lost to Pakistan and beat Japan, the match against Ireland is basically a must win because the West Indies are really good.

Hopefully that clears everything up.
