Only thing I can argue is your first para; yes, I know all about that. I still mentioned about NFL, MLB, keeping those in mind, mainly because for baseball and American football and basketball those are the "International league," the highest level for those sports. They can't be compared to IPL, because IPL is a domestic league and is not the highest level of cricket. So to compare ICC with other sports (sports that I follow) I had to use NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL.
2ndly because I have no idea how FIFA works so I couldn't compare it to the ICC.
