And Ashraful hasn't become a hopeless case (through a combination of the management and his own fault)?
Mark Gillespie, the NZ fast bowler, returned to international cricket after a 3 year hiatus, at the wrong side of 30 and took a 5-wicket haul immediately against South Africa. He was dropped due to fitness issues and bowling form and came back when he was ready. Ash still has some time on his side. Let him come back to a batting position and a format when and if he is truly ready - which may be in a couple of years time.
